A stoic band of three attended social petanque at FAB this afternoon and celebrated the installation of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) by the City of Adelaide.

13 FAB members enjoyed lunch on the balcony of the Exeter Hotel after the games on Sunday 3rd May.

A beautiful rainbow was on view which Dave suggested was J-P’s colourful spirit smile looking down on us.

There were 57 players, including visitors from the Club de Petanque d’Adelaide, interstate and overseas, in the FAB doubles competition on 26 April.

5 teams won all 3 games

3rd Valmai and Ilario +25
4th Terry and Rae +20
5th Peter and Sue M +16

Bill and Susan K defeated Ashley and John N 12-7 in a timed out final.

Many thanks to Jan who assisted with raking the piste.
