FLAGSTAFF HILL GOLF CLUB 2026 SENIOR OPEN
MONDAY 18TH MAY 2026
Terms of Competition Terms of the Competition:
• This event is open to male amateur players who are aged 55 years and older and women amateur players who are aged 50 years and older as of 18 May 2026 and whose Golf Australia Handicap does not exceed 24.4 for men and 35.5 for women at the time of entry
• The Flagstaff Hill Golf Club reserves the right to ballot in the event should it be necessary and exclude any player from the competition
• Entrance fees will be $45.00 for visitors and $25.00 for Flagstaff Hill members (a light lunch will be provided). Entries close at 5:00pm on Monday 11 May 2026, no late entries will be accepted.
• Entry forms available via MiTournament in the MiScore App or online at mitournament.com and search for Flagstaff Hill Golf Club.
• The competition will commence with a 2 tee start from 11:18am on Monday 18 May 2026. A draw detailing starting holes for each entrant will be released prior to the event. Please refer to the Flagstaff Hill Golf Club website fhgc.com.au, Golf Australia website. The draw will be released on Thursday 14th May 2026.
• Prizes will be awarded to men and women: – Gross score winner and runner-up – – – Nett score winner. Super Seniors (65 years or older) gross score winner and runner-up Super Seniors nett winner
• Players will not be permitted to win more than one major prize.
• The Flagstaff Hill Golf Club will make playing arrangements and be the umpire in the case of a dispute or protest which must be lodged in writing with the Club not later than 5 minutes after the conclusion of the day’s play.
• Motorised (non-petrol) carts/bikes will be permitted, however, if the temperature is forecast to be 38 degrees Celsius or greater all motorised carts and bikes will be prohibited.
• The rules governing this event shall be the Rules of Golf as adopted by the R&A Rules together with any such rules (local) as are in force by the Flagstaff Hill Golf Club on the day of play
• Competitors and supporters must observe the dress code on the Flagstaff Hill Golf Club website.
• Club Advantage privileges cannot be used for this event.

*Entries are only accepted through the MiTournament platform via the MiScore App or online at mitournament.com and search for Flagstaff Hill.*

1. Open to male amateurs whose GA Handicap does not exceed 9.0, female amateurs whose GA Handicap does not exceed 16.0, and juniors whose GA Handicap does not exceed 16.0 (juniors must be under 18 years of age on 24th May 2026). Upon request, the Club reserves the right to allow entry to players above these limits. Tee off from 7:00am.

2. Entry will only be accepted on receipt of the $60 entrance fee and $35 for FHGC members (lunch provided) and beverages can be purchased. No “pay on the day” entries will be accepted. No refunds unless notification of withdrawal is received before 4pm on Thursday 21st May 2026.

3. Entries close on Sunday 17th May 2026 and no late entries will be accepted.

4. Starting times will be available from Thursday 21st May 2026 after 4pm and will be posted on the Club website: www.fhgc.com.au.

5. The Golf Australia Heat Policy shall be enforced in the case of extreme temperature conditions.

6. Conditions of Play will be posted on the Notice Board on the day of event.

7. Practice round on Friday 22nd May 2026 at a green fee cost of $45.00.

Congratulations to the FHGC Junior Div 3 Pennant team who won their semi-final (3-2) to advance to the final against Thaxted Park at Tea Tree Gully GC at 12:10pm. It would be great to see lots of FHGC support get out to TTG to cheer on the team!

The Women’s Cleek 2 team was unfortunately defeated (3.5-1.5) by The Grange on Monday at Aston Hills GC. They had a great season making the final. Well done to all who represented the team this year.

The Men’s B2 team also unfortunately got defeated (4-3) by West Lakes in the semi-final at Mount Osmond GC. It was a very close battle with the deciding match going to the 23rd hole. Well done to all players for making it to the semi-final.

The Men’s A2 team lost their round-7 match to West Lakes (6-1) and did not make it to the final.

The Men's B2 are playing at Mount Osmond GC at 8am Sunday 26th.
The Junior Div 3 team are playing at Flagstaff Hill GC at 12pm Sunday 26th.
The Women's Cleek 2 team are playing the Grand Final at Aston Hills GC at 9:30am Monday 27th.
It would be great to see FHGC members get to these matches to support our teams.
