🏁 WEDNESDAY NIGHT – SPRING INTO SUMMER SERIES ROUND 2!

We're a little slow out of the blocks this week, as we'd planned to get this information out sooner than tonight!
A bit of an in-depth post tonight, but please take the time to have a read as we're making a few changes to how we do things moving forward.

Starting this week and moving forward, entries for Wednesday night racing will now be done through EntryBoss.
We understand there will be a bit of a learning curve over the next few weeks, particularly for our club members and riders from other clubs who haven't used the system before. But don't stress, we're here to help you through it! If you can't quite master entryboss this week, that's okay come see us at rego between 6-6.45pm as we don't want this process to discourage you from participating.
We'll be sending an email out to our club members tomorrow morning with instructions on how to set up your EntryBoss account and how to enter. If members from other clubs have questions please message us, we're only too happy to help!
🤔 Why the move to EntryBoss, you might ask?
📢 All race information, including times, fees and event details, can now be found on EntryBoss.
We'll still continue to put up our usual Wednesday racing posts to keep everyone in the loop!
Moving forward, the EntryBoss link for the following week's racing will be available each Thursday, giving everyone plenty of time to get their entries in.
🏁 Entries will remain open right up until 5pm on race day!
Plans changed and you can no longer make it? No worries! You can scratch your entry through EntryBoss and receive a refund, provided you do so before the 4.30pm cut-off.
Hopefully this gives everyone a bit more flexibility and makes planning your racing week that little bit easier! 🙌
There's a few reasons behind the change!
🚗 Making life easier! We know plenty of families travel to get to racing, and sometimes making it to the club within the registration window can be a challenge. This gives everyone the opportunity to enter ahead of time.
📋EntryBoss links directly to the AusCycling/Justgo membership database, automatically red-flagging riders who do not have an active or valid license before payment goes through.
🏁 More competitive racing! Being able to see who's entered gives us the opportunity to encourage other riders to come along, build up classes and create more competitive racing for everyone!
🙌 Helping our volunteers! As you all know, our club runs on volunteer power! This process will help streamline registrations, make things more efficient behind the scenes and take some of the pressure off our volunteers.
🍔 Better canteen planning! Knowing how many riders we're expecting also helps our canteen crew better prepare and cater for everyone.
💰 And here's some good news! For those familiar with EntryBoss, remember that pesky card fee at checkout? Well, that's no longer! So it's not going to cost you any extra to enter this way!
So, how does checking in on race night work?
🔹 Mini Wheelers, Sprockets & Novice riders: Please pop past rego when you arrive and let us know you're racing so we can check you in.
🔹 All other riders with transponders: If you're doing practice, you'll automatically be checked in.
🔹 Not doing practice but still racing? No worries! Just shoot the club a message or come and see us at rego so we know you're there.
Like anything new, there may be a few little hiccups along the way, but we'll fine-tune the process as we go!
We're always looking at ways to improve how we do things at Cross Keys, not only for our riders and families but also for the volunteers who give up their time to keep the club running.
