Saturday 23rd May is Reconciliation Round - we acknowledge the lands that we play on as unceded Kaurna land and respectfully thank the traditional owners for allowing us to play our wonderful sport on their lands. At Association courts we enjoy the wonderful artwork that adorns our pole covers and thank the contact with Josie Agius who the park is named after.

A little overcast but a great way to celebrate Life Member Day on 9th May. Our wonderful association life members celebrated with a great afternoon tea spread provided by our SAUCNA Board members. Special thank you to Kate and Hayley A for the catering and to Kat for the beautiful invitations.

SAUCNA would like to wish all the mother's a Happy Mother's Day today. You all do so much for your children and we appreciate all that you do.

A special day on the court today as we remember the spirit of our Anzacs. We are grateful for the courage, sacrifice and resilience of those who serve and are honoured to come together in our teams to remember them. A reminder that all matches normally scheduled for 12pm will commence at 12:05pm.

Winter season is about to commence and we are seeking people to act as Clubroom supervisors and court supervisors at Association Courts. These are paid positions $40 per match. If you are interested please complete the application form (https://forms.gle/zPnisWn5DvTUW6LY8). A full understanding and knowledge of the SAUCNA Playing Conditions (March 2026) is required. Applications close Sunday 12th April.

2026 Winter Association Court Staff Application Thank you for volunteering your time to assist the Association

A reminder that our next working bee is TOMORROW - Saturday 21st March from 9:30-11:30am (still gives you time to vote before or after we are done). Jobs to be completed include (but are not limited to):
General rubbish pick up
Staining of benches
Painting the repaired areas of the courts
Clearing of gutters
Removal of graffiti
Sorting of scorecards for the winter season
Sorting of lost property

Please wear old clothes and bring a water bottle. The association will provide all other necessary items.
Clubs that do not send a representative will be fined $10 per registered team for the winter season.

The end of the season is here and our Grand Final teams are ready to compete. Good luck to all teams! Spectators be supportive and please follow the instructions of our court supervisors. Here's to a great week!

As we commence our finals a reminder to all spectators please - scooters, bikes and skateboards are not permitted on the court area or near spectators. We have had a number of injuries and near misses recently so please leave these at home. Also council have advised that we are not to permit the metallic plastic "pom poms" as they are an environmental issue. Please come and support your teams and make it a safe environment for players, officials and spectators.

Expressions of interest are now open for our Winter season first aid staff at Association Courts. Matches commence on Saturday 28th March and staff are required between 11:45am and 5:45pm each week. If you are interested please send through your resume and availability to [email protected] no later than Saturday 14th March.
