SWAY Dance Academy

I am just correcting a rumour going around. SWAY is not moving venues. SWAY will still run as usual at the Ballroom Function Centre. There is now an additional dance being conducted at Cosgrove Hall under the banner of Let's Dance Ballroom Community, hosted by Judy and David Reynolds with us co-hosting. Please note, they are two separate entities. If you hear someone spreading this rumour, please correct them and nip it in the bud. Cheers Luke and Lynette

I have created a new group. Do a search on Facebook for let’s dance ballroom community and join the group. We will do regular posts about dances at Cosgrove Hall.

15 minutes before the ball starts we will be teaching Mambo Fiesta. It was created in September 2025. Come early.

SWAY's Red Carpet Ball will be held on Saturday 18 July 2026 at the Ballroom Function Centre (Ukrainian Hall) 64-66 Orsmond Street Hindmarsh. Glam it up!

***15 minutes before the Ball starts we are demonstrating a new dance "Mambo Fiesta". Come early and try it.***

We have vacancies in each of the two sessions:
* Afternoon (2pm to 6pm) and
* Evening (7pm to 11pm)
so take your pick which one you would like to attend.

It's $25 (cash at the door) per session, so that you can dance the afternoon or night away to a blend of Ballroom, Latin, New Vogue and Sequence Dancing. BYO food (nibbles) and drink.

Winter ball is tomorrow, Disney on Ice is also on so allow extra time for traffic

Our Monday night teaching class (Molinara Club Lyons Road Windsor Gardens 7:30pm to 9:30pm) is still on this Monday 8 June despite it being a long weekend. Just pay $15 cash at the door. We hope to see you there.
