Never a dull day when diving with AUSC! From underwater photography opportunities, wreck diving, jetty diving, birthday pizza cakes and good dive buddies we have some pretty fun adventures.

Just in the last few months we have had our camping trip at Wirrina for the Ex HMAS Hobart and our Yorke Peninsula diving trip staying in freshly renovated Adelaide University Marine Research Station along with our local dives that happen most weeks the weather is good.

If you are a student of Adelaide University dont hesitate to signup right now as we are diving all year even over the cooler months. To our non students we hope to have another intake of memberships before summer! https://www.adelaidescuba.com/membership/

Our new dive boat will be on its way to Australia in the next few days! From here it will be delivered to our dealer where the motor, electrics, and everything else that completes a dive boat is integrated. We are 90% on track time line wise there have been some slight delays in the fabrication of our full length canopy but we are still tracking well!

A massive thank you to all the divers who joined us on our first Whyalla/Stony Point Cuttlefish Dive Trip of 2025. 🦑🌊

If you missed out on this year’s trip we’ll be hosting another one next year, with other (non-cuttlefish related) dive trips organised throughout the year. Head over to our website to find out more about become an AUSC member.

Happy World Oceans Day, from all of us at AUSC.

As divers, we experience the ocean in a way unique to most, and after the trials and tribulations our southern coast is facing currently it is as important as ever to take a moment to appreciate what we have.

Our oceans not only provided the basis of all life on earth, but maintain it today. Providing us as divers with beautiful landscapes, the ability to experience weightlessness, and for many a chance to completely clear your mind. Whatever reason attracted you to diving - it certainly wouldn't be possible without the ocean.

So today we post this graphic with gratitude and a commitment to not forget the importance of our seas.
