🔴🔵 POORAKA MASTERS GAME DAY 🔵🔴🐂

On the drive to today’s game, it definitely looked like we were in for a wet one 🌧️😅 Dark skies, clouds rolling in, and we were all starting to rethink our decision to wear the white kit 🤍😂 Safe to say there were a few thoughts going through our minds about how long those jumpers would stay clean!

As it turned out, the weather gods were on our side 🙌☀️ Not a drop of rain all day and perfect conditions for a great game of footy.

What followed was a fantastic contest between two great clubs 💪🏉 Massive credit to West AFL Masters Football Club and our boys for putting on a quality game from start to finish. The intensity was high all day 🔥 Strong pressure around the contest 💥 Great ball movement 🏃‍♂️💨 hard running, second efforts and plenty of determination from both sides. There was plenty of skill on display and some really good football played.

At the end of the day, the real winner was football ❤️🏉🐂 While the game itself was fantastic, one of the best things to see after the final siren was the smiles on everyone’s faces 😃 Masters football is special because of the friendships built through the game and the enjoyment it brings 🤝🐂 Footy brings people together, and those friendships are what make it all worthwhile ❤️

☀🏉What a beautiful day for footy at our first home game of the year against the East Hectorville Demons AFL Masters Football Club

The rain was expected🌧… but luckily it stayed away and we ended up with a perfect day for football👌It was also great to finally pull on our blue guernseys at home🔴🔵The game was played in true AFL Masters spirit 🤝plenty of good contests, hard combat, laughs, and both teams enjoying the game from start to finish😄💪

A fantastic day of footy all round, with footy the real winner🏆🏉A huge thank you to everyone who helped out on the BBQ🌭🔥 and in the canteen☕🍔. The day wouldn’t have run anywhere near as smoothly without all your hard work and support👏👏
