Let's talk about our inner fire 🔥
This week and next in our Hatha yoga classes we are exploring Tapas, - the third Niyama
I love the idea of Tapas as our inner fire - that little spark within us that helps us to keep showing up for ourselves, even when we don't always feel like it.
So...we're going to explore our own inner fire through movement, breath and a little self-reflection.
💫 Where can we create a little more warmth, energy and strength within ourselves ❓
And perhaps more importantly.....
💫 How can we keep our inner fire burning without burning ourselves out❓
I would love for you to join me on the mat as we explore tapas together 🩷

Sharma Yoga and Therapy by Sharron Macrow
When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too
~Paulo Coelho~
A Hatha Yoga class follows a sequence beginning with breath work, warm ups moving into physical postures (asanas), practised more slowly and with more static posture holds.
🌸 Spring Balance, Strength & Flow for women 🌸
Have you noticed how good it feels when spring arrives and everything seems to come alive again? 🌱
The days get lighter, the flowers start blooming, and there’s this lovely feeling of new beginnings.
This spring Balance, Strength & Flow practice is an invitation to bring some of that same feeling into ourselves.
And just like spring, menopause and post-menopause, lovingly referred to as our second spring can be a time of renewal and growth an opportunity to let go of what no longer serves us and a chance to make space for something new.
This practice is about feeling strong in your body, supported in your movement and a little more refreshed and energised in yourself.
Come and move, breathe, strengthen and flow with us — and leave feeling refreshed, renewed and ready to bloom. 🌷

A Little Week Off 🌿
No yoga classes this week… and I’m very happy about it! 😊
I’m taking a little time to rest, recharge and feed my soul. 💛
Sometimes we need to step away from our usual routines, slow down and simply enjoy some space to breathe, be and do the things that fill our cup.
So, I’m giving myself permission to pause… and I hope you give yourself permission to do the same when you need it. 🌸
Classes are back as usual next week, and I’ll see you on the mat feeling refreshed and ready to move, breathe and connect again. 🧘♀️✨
Until then… I’m off to feed my soul! 🌨️☀️💛
Daffodil Day 🌼 20th August
Today is Daffodil Day — a day to honour those affected by cancer, celebrate the strength of survivors, and hold hope for a future where more people can live beyond cancer.
I lost my beautiful Dad to cancer, so this day holds a very special place in my heart. 💛
Today, I’m thinking of those who are fighting, those who have survived, and those we carry in our hearts and memories.
May the daffodil always be a little reminder of hope, courage and new beginnings. 🌼🙏🏻
Have you ever noticed how we can spend so much time waiting for the next thing to make us happy? 🌸
The next goal, the next holiday, the next chapter… always thinking “I’ll be happy when…”
In yoga, there’s a beautiful idea called Santosha, the second Niyama. It simply means contentment — learning to appreciate where we are and what we have, right here and now.
It doesn’t mean we stop dreaming or wanting more from life. It’s just about not missing the beauty of today while we’re busy looking ahead.
Sometimes, contentment can be as simple as taking a breath, slowing down and thinking, “You know what? I’m actually okay right here.” 💕
So, what’s something in your life today that you can pause and feel grateful for? 🌿
🌿 What are your thoughts today? 🌿
In yoga, we’re invited to pause and simply notice.
Notice our breath.
Notice our body.
And notice the thoughts that move through our mind.
There’s a beautiful saying: “What we think, we become.”
So perhaps today, gently ask yourself…
What thoughts am I carrying?
Are they kind? Are they helpful?
Do they support the person I’m becoming?
We don’t have to change every thought or push the difficult ones away.
We can simply notice them, breathe, and choose what we want to give our energy to.
Because with awareness comes choice.
And sometimes, that little pause between a thought and our response is where the real transformation begins. 🌸
🌿 “What thoughts are you carrying today? If you feel called to, share one with me in the comments. 🌸”
' Have you ever noticed how easy it is to take care of everyone else........ and then realise you've kind of forgotten about yourself?
For the following weeks ahead we are exploring one of the Yogic philosophies ~ 'Niyama' ~
Niyama's have five rules or habits that ask us to observe our internal world. To observe the relationship we have with ourselves.
You can think of them as a personal guide for a happy and healthy life. 🪷
🌿 'Have you come across the Niyama's before❓
l'd really love to hear what you think. 🙏🏻

Can I ask you something?
What if menopause wasn't something we had to fear or fix?
What if it was an invitation...
An invitation to slow down. To stop pushing through. To start listening to your body instead of fighting against it.
I truly believe this stage of life can become one of the most transformative seasons we'll ever experience.
Not because it's always easy—it isn't.
But because it asks us to come home to ourselves.🩷
