What a weekend for our teams in the Challenge Cup Semi-Finals!

A huge congratulations to our Under 9s, who have made it through to the FINAL, to be played on Saturday, 26th September!

The Under 9s put in a fantastic performance, securing a 2–0 victory and earning their well-deserved place in the final.

Unfortunately, our Under 10s and Under 11s fell short, but both teams gave it everything and fought right until the final whistle. A truly gallant effort from both sides.

We couldn’t be prouder of every player, coach and family involved across all three teams. Making it to a Challenge Cup Semi-Final is a fantastic achievement in itself.

Well done to all our teams, you represented the club brilliantly!

Our Men’s Senior Team took to the field in our Roma kits as we marked the anniversary of the passing of one of Salisbury Villa’s most loved sons, Bruno Costanzo.

11 years may have passed, but for those who knew Bruno, his memory remains as strong as ever. His passion for football, his love for Salisbury Villa, and the impact he had on the people around him will never be forgotten.

Wearing the Roma strip — Bruno’s favourite — was our way of remembering him, honouring his memory, and keeping his spirit close to the club he loved.

On Saturday, we didn’t just wear the Roma colours… we wore them for Bruno. ❤️💛

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we were looking for. Going down to 10 men made the task even harder, but our defence held strong for long periods, with Anthony, Angelo and Frank putting in great performances and giving everything for the team.

After battling so hard, we conceded two very late goals to eventually go down 2–0.

The result may not have gone our way, but the day was about something much bigger — remembering Bruno and keeping his memory alive within our Villa family. ❤️💛
