We have one class left before Term 3 Holidays!

This will be the last chance for new students to come along and join us until the new year.
Term 4 will be about preparing for our end of year concert.

Existing students, this Saturday and come Term 4 I will be starting off by having a catch up with each group in regards to concert and make sure we are all on the same page. I will have information to hand out for you all for Term 4 Week 1.

This Saturday I will also take down students measurements for concert costumes.
If you are not returning in Term 4 please let me know ASAP for choreography and costuming purposes.

September 25th - Last lesson for Term 3
October 2nd - Holidays
October 9th - Holidays
October 16th - Term 4

If you have Spotify and would like our playlist for the holidays, just let me know. I will email the songs for concert dances, as they are edited songs.

If you haven’t received any invoices, let me know so I can notify Miss Nicole. Please remember to screenshot and send transfer receipts to myself for any Bank Transfer Payments, this is to to help with some bookkeeping.

The kids are doing wonderfully, and although Covid-19 has impacted us this year I feel like they have all adjusted to the sudden changes, and I appreciate the support and patience from you all.

UPDATE:

So obviously I was hopeful that we would come out of the restrictions on Friday and our showcase would still be able to go ahead on Sunday, unfortunately with the 7 day lockdown this isn’t able to happen. I’m NOT going to give up just yet as I don’t want all of our hard work to go to nothing. I’ve been on the phone with GGAC several times this morning 😅 and we are trying to workout another date we can move it. Obviously I don’t want it to go too far into Term 3 as it will then take up to much of our concert work, but I’m trying to find a date that hopefully will work.
I’ll keep you all updated as soon as I have more information on this.

Until I have more info to give we will go ahead with our zoom classes, I posted the link in the UDS members page earlier today. I’ll also post it on the time tree app shortly. Please make sure you are following both as this is where all of the updates will be posted for the remainder of lockdown.

Miss Emma will be making a video of the dances to send to the Minis A group to watch and practice at home 💛 we understand zoom can be hard for the little ones.
My self and Georgia will still be going ahead with our lessons though Saturday times will be slightly different.
Miss Chelsea doesn’t have wifi which makes it hard to host zoom so I will be taking the acro dance classes On Saturday. Chelsea posted in the members page exercises for you to work on so just keep going with those!

Ticket sales obviously won’t be going ahead until I know if we can reschedule the date for the showcase. For those that have already purchased tickets they will just have a hold put on them for now and will refund if comes down to a cancel, but I am hopeful that we can find a slot to make it work. Unfortunately all of tea tree gully council had to shut earlier this morning due to a close contact with a staff member so finding availability isn’t easy at the moment but Im doing my best with the staff to find out what dates could work. Even though I’ve been told they are not a hotspot it may be a few days before I can get a booking as I’ll have to see if other dates get cancelled.

I know these situations are stressful for not only myself but a lot of you so I’m sending you all my love and support! I’m here if you need someone to talk to, dance related or otherwise.

For now I’ll see you on zoom and post updates as I have them.

Hi UDS Families,

As you are aware, SA will be having restrictions due to Covid-19. Please read these notes below for the coming days from Miss Nicole.

-There will be Zoom classes until Friday, the link will be sent out after classes finish tonight.

-We are hopeful for continuing as normal for Saturday classes and Sundays Showcase. You will all be notified of the decisions when we can make them.

-If all goes well, we may have a Sunday run through of the showcase programme.

We will have to wait and see what the restrictions go to, and take things day by day.

We understand this is a frustrating time, but I am requesting that you please be respectful of our beautiful Nicole and the stress this causes a Dance Studio Principal.
She will always get back to any queries when she has the free time to do so.
