A quick trip to Gold Coast for "War on the Shore" event hosting two WMO World titles and one WMO World Muay Thai Organization International title. Congratulations to Chad Collins, Kim Townsend and James Honey on their strong display against the Thais. It was nice catching up with my good friend from Bangkok Auracha Wongthien. Congrats to Mark Pease and team on an amazing well run event. The Star Casino was packed!

Dear members,

The lease for the gym is due for renewal on 7th June. With the huge roadworks (Darlington to Torrens Tunnel project) about to start soon infront of the gym that is more than likely to affect access to the gym, I have decided not to renew the lease.

I will focus on my personal training instead and train a selected bunch of fighters. I'm excited for this new chapter as this also allows me to have a balance with my personal and family life.

If any of you have paid your monthly membership recently, please message me privately with your account details and il pro-rata your money back.

Having been training in Muay Thai for 32 years and running Young Lions for 24 years, I would like to thank everyone for all your support over the years. The journey has not ended yet, I am only continuing this journey with a different focus.

Big congratulations to Aiden winning his fight in Melbourne today by unanimous decision. Brilliant spinning elbow too. Thank you to my brother Dennis cornering him today.👊

Congratulations to my boys, Lewis, Aiden, Jye and Angus. Such strong performances by all four fighters. Jye winning his by stoppage in the second round. Aiden winning by stoppage in the third round. Angus losing by spilt points in his first outing and we though Lewis had done enough to take the win but lost on points. Very proud by the strong performances and maturity showed by these young lads. Thank you also to our opponents and their gyms. Thank you to my corner, Brodie, Deb, Tyson and Spiro. Big thanks to all the Young Lions crew that took the long drive to support our boys. Always learning along the Muay Thai journey. Was fantastic having Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao come down to Young Lions Muay Thai showing his own special tricks. Thanks to all who came. Thanks to Kerri for the fruit and protein drinks after the seminar. It was awesome catching up with Sam A as we used to train at the old Petchyindee gym next to the old Lumpinee stadium, above the twins shop back in the day. We both agreed that the old Lumpinee on Rama 4 was a special place, old rustic stadium, no air-conditioning, only fans. Had the best atmosphere compared to the new one. 🙏
