This is such a COMMON problem for clients 😔 Many DON'T get enough protein in daily
It can be tricky getting a healthy meal together that’s not over the top, easy to prepare and of course healthy
Also, it seems starting the day with protein is pretty important too (which many miss the mark on)
And guess what? Just an egg in the morning, is not quite hitting the target 🎯
I didn’t get a chance to mention it in the video, but the omelette also has a few other key ingredients to boost your protein (other than the whole egg and eggs whites)
I chucked in some lean turkey ham and also some low fat fetta
Don’t look at these recipes and think “how on earth will I have the time”
Here’s the thing…
I did manage to smash these three dishes out in a small window of time on Sunday arvo
Of course, Yvette helped me a bit
But hobestly they’re not too complex
If you would like the recipes
Comment “Protein” and I’ll DM them over to you
Scott
Oh and I should say!
If you are training more and need just a little more protein
Throw in a protein shake
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for someone who has a Boxing for fitness qualification to help us out 1 night a week (Monday)
We run a Youth Boxing and kickboxing for fitness program at Lockleys
Sessions are Monday and Wednesday from 4:45pm till 5:45pm
We mainly need the assistance on the Monday night, but there is certainly more opportunities to teach on the Wednesday night PLUS our Adults classes

Hey there!
I'm giving away my Ebook!
It's packed with simple tips to help you:
✅ shed some kgs
✅ Move more easily
✅ And build strength—all while introducing you to the basics of living a healthier lifestyle
Now, I call them "basics" because, these days, everyone’s chasing after some crazy "hacks" and so-called "secrets."
But honestly, those often set people up for failure
Most of us just need to tidy up a few simple areas and stay consistent
That's the real key!
We remind our clients every week that consistency is everything—and you know what? It truly works!
If you'd like a copy of this easy-to-follow little Ebook, just send me a DM or comment “ebook” on this post
I’ll get it to you!
First come, first served, so don’t miss out!
Your coach,
Scott

2025 was a pretty good year for Ignite
We onboarded some new faces who fit into the community superbly
Members continued to work on their goals with some incredible successes along the way
Our Youth Boxing For Fitness Program continued to keep kids moving, focused, stronger and of course much fitter
We also added some more yoga to our timetable which has been enjoyed by many
On top of this, we also introduced our Online Personal Training Program to help those who aren’t able to physically attend the gym
It’s been a great way to connect with and help more people out there
Other happenings for the year were:
Lots of car cleaning with my son Jaycob to help him strive towards getting himself a snazzy bike (whilst also teaching him some valuable lessons around money and working along the way)
Heaps of house painting with Yvette (thanks for breaking my back, hun xoxo)
A couple of short trips to Melrose for some mountain biking action - so much fun!
One beautiful trip to the river with school mates
Lots of kids sports
Lots of coffee
We were able to continue some important english tutoring for Jaycob and Macey
With the help of my brother Jason, his partner and of course my wife Yvette, we’ve been able to keep Mum reasonably happy and healthy whilst also supporting her along the way
A couple of date nights with Yvette and my favourite shirt (more of that shirt in 2026)
Finally got my foot operated on removing that blasted bursa
I only had 2 auras and migraines in 2025, which is quite remarkable. I attribute this result to having had a PFO closure in 2024 (I’ll talk more about that soon)
Of course there is more, but overall I’m fortunate to say for my family and I, 2025 was a good year
Firstly, I’ll say a massive thank you to Yvette
She is an incredible support
Yvette does her little bits and pieces for Ignite, whilst also doing all the important tasks of her normal job and on top of all this the majority of kid duties
I also want to say thank you to my team for making it a wonderful year for our members
And of course, I want to say a massive THANK YOU too all the Ignite Members and of course supporters online
Here's to a spectacular 2026

🚀 My Fitness Manifesto: Training for an Exciting Life
My ultimate passion is living an exciting life—an existence where I feel active, capable, and ready to make the most of nearly every single day
The extraordinary experiences and special times I value are the direct rewards of my health
This isn't about short-term fixes. For me, fitness is a fundamental, non-negotiable life choice.
It's the essential "hard yards" I commit to now to make my definition of a maximized life possible, year after year.
1. Shift the Focus to Capability 💪
I view my routine as performance training for life’s adventures, not just a way to burn calories
Define Your Capability: I am training for the stamina to hike that mountain, the strength to move freely, and the energy to travel without exhaustion. I train for moments, not just minutes
2. Prioritize Consistency Over Intensity ✅
An active lifestyle is built on reliable habits, not sporadic heroism.
Non-Negotiable Minimum (NNM): When life gets busy, I focus on my smallest must-do action (e.g., 15-minute walk, 10-minute mobility). Doing this small action maintains the habit and ensures I never skip two days in a row.
Time Block Your Training: I treat my sessions like crucial appointments. I schedule them and title them: "Investment in Active Future."
3. Track What Truly Matters 📈
To keep a lifestyle going, I need constant proof my efforts are paying off.
Celebrate Non-Scale Victories (NSVs): I focus on the improvements I can feel: deeper sleep, better mood, reduced stress, and energy to attack the day. These are the real rewards.
Use Habit Stacking: I anchor my new habit to an old one. For example: "After I finish my morning coffee, I will do my core work." This removes the need for motivation—it simply becomes the next logical step.
My vision for a highly active and maximised life is my most powerful fuel
By staying consistent, my training becomes the permanent, sustaining force behind the life I choose
Here's to living 🍻💪 everyone
