The PSA Sprint Regatta Series 2025-26 kicks off this weekend and the weather looks like it's going to be kind to us.

The dates for the full series are:

Regatta 1 - 18th October
Regatta 2 - 1st November
Regatta 3 - 15th November
Regatta 4 - 11th January
State Titles - 24th January

It’s also rack sorting time. Any craft not owned by a current member and listed in the membership portal with rack number will be removed from the rack. If you need help doing this contact Peter or Paddle Aus.

Dear Patawalonga Lake User,

This e-mail is to notify you that the Patawalonga Lake will be lowered on Thursday the 26th of September starting 7 am in preparation for PLS South Gate Project works.

The tides that may affect this operation are medium and are being monitored.
It is expected that Normal Lake operations will resume on Saturday the 28th of September.
We will issue another notice when Normal Lake operations resume.

This e-mail is to notify you that the Patawalonga Lake will be lowered on Sunday the 24th of June starting 7.30pm in preparation for an upcoming weather event on the 24/6/24-25/6/24 and to circulate fresh sea water following stormwater flows into the lake.
The tides that may affect this operation are medium and are being monitored.
It is expected that Normal Lake operations will resume on Wednesday the 26th of June.

Paddle SA Education: Leadersip and Assessment Weekend

DON’T MISS OUT ON THE PADDLE SA LEADERSHIP AND ASSESSMENT WEEKEND!

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE 4PM WEDNESDAY 7TH FEBRUARY.

The Paddle SA Education Leadership and Assessment Weekend is our most ambitious, informative, fun and enjoyable program of the year. The event will be conducted at Paddle SA’s new complex at West Lakes and run from the evening of Friday 16th to Sunday 18th February.

There will be something for all paddlers be it your first day in a kayak right through to being assessed as a Flatwater Instructor and all levels in-between.

The program will deliver training and assessment for Basic Skills, Flatwater Skills, Paddling Supervisor, Flatwater Guide and Flatwater Instructor.

Those wishing to be assessed for guide or instructor qualification should register EARLY!

Those who currently hold qualifications at any level are also invited along to keep up with the latest trends in skills, instructional methods, Paddle Australia policies, program and risk management. Sea paddlers can also benefit from attendance.
