The Adelaide Omonia Cobras Football Club was founded in 1972 and is associated with the Football South Australia Junior Boys from Under 12 to Under 17.
Adelaide Omonia Cobras Football Club is part of the Football South Australia National League structure. We have 3 senior squads registered with FSA which consist of our First Team, Reserves and Under 18. We also have 3 Senior Amateur teams playing on Saturdays, with our Seniors and Reserves in Division two. Junior football is an important part of the club's future with over 200 children registered

❇️ Senior Technical Director Appointment 2027
Adelaide Omonia Cobras are pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Mesisca as Senior Technical Director.
Ben brings a diverse background across football and high-performance sport, including more than a decade working within the AFL industry across coaching, high-performance and player development environments.
Ben holds a Master’s degree in Sports Coaching and Psychology, along with an FFA B Coaching licence and a range of other coaching and high-performance credentials.
His football experience includes senior coaching roles with Adelaide University and Eastern United, most recently stepping into the Interim Senior Head Coach role at Eastern United during the 2026 State League 1 season.
Ben brings a strong people-first approach, combined with experience in leadership, player development, recruitment and building high-performance environments.
As Senior Technical Director, he will work closely with the Cobras’ coaches and leadership to strengthen the senior football program, develop players and coaches, improve recruitment and retention, and build a clear and sustainable pathway for the club’s future.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to join Adelaide Omonia Cobras and help build something sustainable for the future. For me, it’s about creating an environment where our players and coaches can develop, setting strong standards and building a clear identity across the senior program.
We have fantastic people at the club who are passionate about seeing it succeed. I’m really looking forward to working alongside them, bringing my experience to the program and playing my part in helping move the Cobras forward.”

What’s involved ?
🟢You will need an FFA C coaching licence or equivalent
🟢 Relevant experience in Senior coaching/director roles
🟢 Player Recruitment knowledge
🟢 Development and oversight of Senior coaches
