Saw some of the lads out at our game on Sunday, let’s get around them this Sunday and support the future of MFC!!!

Under 17.5 GRAND FINAL THIS SUNDAY 🦅🦅

This Sunday, Jmans boys will be playing in their Grand Final at Campbelltown Oval, and we want to see a massive MFC crowd there to cheer on the boys.

This side has done the club so proud and shows what a great future our club has with the next generation of boys coming through into the senior program for years to come.

A special mention to Jman, Meady and Chriso for their work with the boys this year, the amount of time and effort (and Sundays) the lads have given up is a credit to them and their commitment to the club.

Make sure you get down to watch the lads Sunday and then head back to the club and celebrate what has been a fantastic season 🦅

Solid hit-out today against East Hectorville Demons AFL Masters Football Club to wrap up Season 2026 with our Father’s Day clash.

Great numbers across both sides, and the support from family and friends certainly didn’t go unnoticed. A fantastic way to finish the year, with the game played in great spirits and in true Masters fashion.

Highlight of the day surely had to be the final-quarter ruck contest, with both teams deciding it was time to unleash the two smallest blokes on the ground against each other. 😂 Apparently height really is just a number.

That’s a wrap for 2026. Now it’s time to rest up, rebuild the bodies, convince ourselves all those little niggles will magically disappear over summer… and do it all again next year.

Thanks to everyone who played, supported and helped make another season of Modbury Football Club Masters footy a great one.

Happy Fathers Day Gents!!!

Team is in — and it looks like Coach Scott Lane has been throwing the magnets at the board from across the room while also having a few issues with basic counting.

There’ll be a headcount before the first bounce, with Ebert currently named as the 19th man.

The smallest bloke on the ground is apparently rucking, the midfield selection policy seems to be based purely on speed alone and the backs and forwards have undergone a complete role reversal. One half isn’t complaining… and we all know which half that is. 👀

Judging by this initial line-up, I’m also putting money on that at the 10 minute mark into the first quarter, Coach will bring himself on and casually wander onto a wing.

Absolute tactical masterclass.

This might just be the best line-up of the year. 😂🍺

Fine print: Subject to change.

Looking forward to the final game of 26’ v East Hectorville Demons AFL Masters Football Club

Father’s Day & the final hit-out of Season ’26! 🦅

This Sunday, the Modbury Hawks Masters take on East Hectorville Demons AFL Masters Football Club for one last run around before the bodies are officially sent in for their end-of-season service. 😂

The hamstrings are hanging on by a thread, knees are held together with tape, and getting out of bed Monday morning now counts as recovery training.

But there’s one game left, so load up on the Deep Heat, find the least-sore body part and let’s finish Season ’26 properly!

Bring the family, make a day of it and enjoy some Father’s Day footy — because nothing says Happy Father’s Day like Dad spending Sunday afternoon pretending he’s still 25. 🍻🏉
