If you are a close contact, you must follow the close contact guidelines.
โช๏ธ Wear a mask when you leave the house for 7 days (12 years and over)
โช๏ธ Undertake 5 rapid antigen tests over 7 days
โช๏ธ Get a PCR test as soon as any symptoms develop and quarantine until you receive a negative result
โช๏ธ Notify your employer, school or early childcare setting.
โช๏ธ Not attend Tier 1 sensitive settings for 14 days, unless to seek medical care or supplies
โช๏ธ Not attend Tier 2 sensitive settings for 7 days, unless to seek medical care or supplies

If you test positive using a RAT, you must report your result online within 24 hours.

Eligibility for telephone voting has now formally changed following our recommendation early this morning. People who have tested positive to COVID-19 after 6pm on Friday 13 May are now eligible.

COVID-19 Update 3 May 2022
[NEW CASES]
There have been 3,215 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today. There are currently 24,044 active cases in South Australia.
[CASE UPDATE]
Sadly, SA Health can confirm a woman in her 90s and two men in their 80s, who tested positive for COVID-19, have passed away.
There are 228 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 17 people in ICU, with two people requiring a ventilator. Of those hospitalised, 167 people are fully vaccinated, 54 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and seven have an unknown vaccination status.
Due to a reconfiguration of the data, the total number of cases has been readjusted.

There have been 3,070 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today. There are currently 24,792 active cases in South Australia.
