Last week Sher e Punjab had the First Game after a lot of rain delays, match cancellations etc against the Dukes of Punjab at ADELAIDE's LORDS CRICKET GROUND where the Slope of the Wicket was more than 2.5 meters :D
Sher e Punjab batted first loosing 4 quick wickets of Lucky, Asad, Harry and Deepak... But our Veteran Cricketer Khaqan Abbasi joined the party and showed the boys how to bat by scoring 84 of 62 balls with Monstrous Sixes.. Gurpreet Bhatti accompanied him and scored 28 of 31 balls... contributing to a VITAL Partnership... taking the score from 44-4 to 138-5.. Sher e Punjab later scored 148 runs in 20 Overs.
Dukes only managed to score 122 of the 20 Overs.. Deepak, Micky, Khaqan Abbasi, Tejindar and Harry contributed with the wickets. Tremendous Fielding efforts by Aman, Dilpreet and Ajay.
Khaqan Abbasi was named the man of the match after his Brilliant knock and taking 2 wickets.. WHAT A LEGEND!!!!!!!

Sher e Punjab started with a Win in the SacaSuperT20 Winter Tournament against The Wolves!!!
Sher e Punjab missed 5 key players in the first encounter. Sher e Punjab batted first with scoring only 116 runs of 20 overs courtesy 55 runs on 47 balls by M Sheikh. Not forgetting the contributions from Prince Sidhu Bajjoana and Lucky Guron.
Great start of bowling by Khaqan Abbasi, and Sukhjinder but at one stage The Wolves were 47-0 in 4 overs chasing 117 runs, then Harry and Lucky pulled the things back. 3 wickets for Harry and 2 for Lucky Guron 2 For Sukhjinder, Tejinder Singh also contributed nicely with his beautiful bowling.
Last 6 balls required 7 runs for Wolves’ victory with 1 wicket in hand.. Asad bowled the last over, defended the total and got wicket on the last ball of the match...
Sher e Punjab was the Winner by 4 runs.
For his 1 wicket in the penultimate over, 3 catches as wicket keeper and 55 runs of 47 balls was declared Man of the Match!!
