Cove Cricket Club

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of club legend Paul “Mole” Kinnear.

Paul was one of the true backbone figures of our club from the moment he joined. A leading wicket taker, premiership player, long-serving President, Hall of Famer, and a driving force behind getting our junior program started in the early days when we had none. The hours and dedication he poured into building this club into what it is today can never truly be measured.

Paul was an all-round great mate to so many, both on and off the field. Even opposition players would agree, with many fearing facing Cove when Mole came charging in with his left-arm fast bowling.

More than anything, Paul’s loyalty, passion, and love for the club will always be remembered.

Our deepest condolences go out to the entire Kinnear family during this incredibly sad time. Please know your sporting family is here for you, and if there is anything we can do as a club, we will be there.
