Each week we will feature a feng shui item that is available for purchase through our Fengfest shop. We will tell you a bit about the symbol/item, where best to place it and what value it will add to you life. To purchase the item please click on the 'shop' page for further details.

This week we are featuring probably what is the most known feng shui symbol - the Three Legged Toad.

The Three Legged Toad is a making making symbol and although very feng looking, can be hidden away whilst still bringing in the wealth. In Chinese mythology the Three Legged Toad is said to exist only on the moon. Thus, unattainable. The Gods searched for this creature and found it hiding deep inside a well. Aware of the toad's fondness for money it was baited with a red line tied with gold coins. This image was captured symbolising wealth is about to come.

Where to place your toad - Place the toad near the vicinity of the front door. The orientation of the toad should be at the diagonal to the door, (not directly in front of the door). Place it fairly low but not on the floor. Place as many toads in your home/office as you would like and as with real frogs and toads, hide them away as they prefer not to be out in the open.

So, although very feng, this is a great symbol that can be hidden in a pot plant, under the lounge, under a coffee table or TV unit while still activating wealth coming into your life.
