Congratulations to Josh Meredith, a dedicated student of MLX Fight, on successfully achieving his Yellow Belt in the Jinen Karate Jitsu syllabus.
Today, Josh completed his grading, demonstrating discipline, focus, and technical growth — in front of Shihan Kym Reid, Head of Jinen Karate Jitsu.

MLX Fight Gradings 2025 🥋🔥
Another incredible year of dedication, discipline, and growth on the mats! Every student pushed their limits, showing strength, skill, and heart. From white belts to black belts, each grading tells a story of perseverance and passion.
Proud of every fighter who stepped up and gave it their all—this is what the MLX community is all about. 💪👊

MLX Fight is about passion, dedication, and community.
My brother-in-law and sister have built a home dojo where the next generation — my nieces and nephew — train hard, learning discipline and love for the art.
Their efforts brought 6 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze 🥇🥈🥉, but the real win is showing up, supporting each other, and growing every day.
Remember: consistency and heart matter more than medals — the results will follow!

My eldest sister Laurie has been training with me since day one. She continued with Karate while I found my path in Ju-Jitsu, but we’ve always shared the journey. She’s been my steady support and my rock—never competing with me, always pushing us both to adapt and overcome.
A tough fighter, she was still smiling at the end of her blue belt grading (photo below) despite a broken toe and a broken finger
