Dear parents and families of our South Coast kids programs! After daily discussions since December 27 with our kids coaches, parents, Covid authorities and doctors within our club, it is with a heavy heart that I am forced to postpone kids classes until term 2 this year. While we planned to return on Jan 31st in line with school returning, in line with current school directions, we feel we must play it safe for the kids' sake. We have every intention of getting our youth programs back better than ever and will look to make improvements to the learning process for future kids sessions to give your child the best (and safest) experience possible. Thank you for your support over this tough time for our family business and if any children or parents wish to speak to me directly don't hesitate to call me on 0424310396. We will continue to post updates on the kids page so keep an eye out and follow it at where we will announce the new class formats and resumption dates. Covid Mask/Spectator Update: Hi guys, we are continuing to encourage parents waiting outside due to covid number restrictions and student focus reasons.
Kids won’t need masks on the mats during class when they are exercising but if any parents do sit in they will have to be masked under new covid guidelines. Sorry for any inconvenience just trying to do the right thing. 🙏🥋Tom Davey

Kids classes resume at 4pm sharp for members on Wednesday the 27th of January!

2021 Kids classes resume on Wednesday January 27th kids and parents of Team South Coast! The coaches and I cannot wait to help guide all the amazing kids on our mats to become their best selves. Fun, fitness, discipline, learning, social skills, confidence......... bring on 2021! 🥋🙏💪Tom Davey

Important End of year updates *MUST READ*

-we are back open for kids classes today but have max numbers of 42 inside the gym plus coaches so if possible parents and siblings are encouraged to leave after their children get started training.
-we will be pausing fees next week until late January next year when we resume classes in week one of term one 2021
-gradings are next week so make sure your child brings their belt (if they have one) next week to classes. There are no fees for belts or gradings for members.
-we must now check in using the QR code or manual form on the front desk for your child as part of covid requirements.
-we will look to possibly hold several low cost multi hour lock ins at the academy with games, bjj, activities, nerf gun battles etc over the school holidays so watch this space!

Finally, I sincerely thank all the parents who support South Coast and give their kids the opportunity to grow and develop on the Jiu Jitsu mats. Jiu Jitsu gives kids the benefits of self confidence to live out their dreams in this world. But without you parents none of this can happen. So thank you. 🙏🥋 Tom Davey
