VALLEY REDS’ FIRST UPSHOT OF THE SEASON! ❤️
What a way to kick off another season!
The club was a SEA OF RED tonight as our Valley Reds rolled in after their games, ready to swap bowls stories, catch up on results and deliver the usual dose of banter after the first month of pennants! 😂
Our fabulous host, Mark, got the evening underway with a heartfelt tribute to our fellow club member, Eddie Matthews we remembered Eddie with stories and a photo slide celebrating the wonderful memories of Eddie on and off the greens at the club…these are the memories that make our club so special. ❤️
We then caught up on how our teams have fared during the first month of pennants 🙌 — followed by Mark’s jokes, stories and tales… because apparently, one of Mark’s talents is making sure the microphone gets just as much exercise as the bowls! 🤣🎤
And of course, no Valley Reds gathering would be complete without pizzas, ice cream and plenty of laughs! 🍕🍦
A huge THANK YOU to all our brilliant volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make the evening such a success. These are the people who help make Happy Valley more than just a bowling club — they make it a community. ❤️
Good food, good friends, plenty of banter and a whole lot of RED!

❤️ THE VALLEY REDS DON’T BACK DOWN!

The rain certainly made things challenging early on 🌧️, and things weren’t looking too promising… but did our Valley Reds throw in the towel? NOT A CHANCE! 💪

We dug deep, persevered and kept battling on. Because a bit of rain and a rocky start won’t scare off the Valley Reds! 😜❤️

Rain, rain, go away — the Valley Reds are here to play!
