🚨 Look out Agnes! Incoming... THE TRIPLE THREAT TEACHERS! 🚨

Our DCDC teachers are swapping dance shoes for triathlon gear and taking on the Agnes Water Triathlon! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Each of us has followed a very different training regime… with varying levels of athletic credibility.

Miss Kellee – Keeping fit with B***y Barre, pulsing those pliés, squeezing the ball and generally questioning why her legs are shaking after only 47 tiny movements 🍑

Miss Manda – Besides spinning on the office chair all day everyday, has managed to include some serious “training” by holding mini acrobats overhead, and believing she can still keep up with the elite dancers as though she’s 20 years old and didn't give birth a few months ago 🤦‍♀️

Miss Loz – Has DEFINITELY been working the hardest… because have you ever tried keeping up with a tiny tots or preschool class?! Between chasing tiny humans, carrying children, crawling on the floor, dancing like nobody’s watching, surviving sleeping bunnies every class since the beginning of time and repeatedly demonstrating the same movement approximately 700 times… she’s basically been training for an endurance event every day 🫠

Will there be sore muscles? ABSOLUTELY.
Will there be dancing? MOST DEFINITELY.
Will we be wishing we were Miss Shaz? WE ALREADY ARE.
Will we have fun? ALWAYS! 💜

Come down and cheer us on as the Triple Threat Teachers from Discovery Coast Dance Centre take on the Agnes Water Triathlon... while Miss Shaz stays on standby in case our 30+ years of training pas de bourrees and step kicks actually doesn't help in a triathlon 🤷‍♀️

And remember… if you see us struggling, just yell “5, 6, 7, 8" and we'll for sure lock in! 🙌

Team warm up will of course be choreographed. Feel free to join in! See you there 👊

A huge congratulations to all our exam students! The majority received High Honours, which is an incredible achievement and a true testament to their hard work, dedication and commitment.

Exams are an important part of a dancer’s journey, building discipline, confidence, resilience and a strong sense of accomplishment. We are so proud of every student for embracing the challenge and giving their best. What an amazing achievement! 💜
