At EKGA Gymsports we have three goals: To Teach Gymnastics, To Make it Fun and To Keep the Kids Safe. We are a family-owned business and understand what families are looking for at a gymnastics club. We know preschoolers want to have FUN and have friendly coaches. We know school-age gymnasts want to learn cool new tricks and make new friends. And we know competitive squad gymnasts want to represent the club and they want to WIN!

Meet Coach Carla…

Carla is the coach we all want our little girls to aspire to be – kind, intelligent, and with a heart of gold. After retiring from competitive Gymnastics at the end of 2025, Carla now shares her lifelong love of gymnastics with the next generation of young gymnasts.

She brings a calm, caring presence to every class, creating an environment where gymnasts feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to do their best. Carla is a beautiful role model, and we feel so lucky to have her passing on her knowledge, passion, and love for the sport.

Calista first joined EKGA at just nine years old, and it has been a privilege to watch her grow and flourish throughout our WAG program. She currently competes at WAG 10 level, a wonderful achievement that reflects her dedication, commitment and passion for gymnastics.

After balancing the demands of school, gymnastics and work, Calista is looking forward to taking a gap year in 2027 and embracing a well-deserved new chapter.

We have no doubt that Calista will continue to shine as the confident, capable and inspiring young woman she has become. We wish her all the very best as she completes her VCE and good luck with her final exams. We’re so proud of everything she has achieved and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next!

Meet Coach Steph – our Preschool Superstar!

Steph first jumped over the fence four years ago, after being part of her daughter’s classes as a parent, and hasn’t looked back since. Now, as our Lead Preschool Coach, she brings a beautiful balance of experience, care, and real-life understanding as a mum of two young children. She truly gets what our young families need from their gymnastics journey.

Steph is not only passionate about creating a fun and nurturing environment for our littlest gymnasts, but she’s also incredibly valued by both our team and the families she works with every day. Her warmth, energy, and connection with the kids make her a standout in our preschool program.
