At EKGA we make sure that in every class we teach gymnastics, make it fun and keep the kids safe.

At EKGA Gymsports we have three goals: To Teach Gymnastics, To Make it Fun and To Keep the Kids Safe. We are a family-owned business and understand what families are looking for at a gymnastics club. We know preschoolers want to have FUN and have friendly coaches. We know school-age gymnasts want to learn cool new tricks and make new friends. And we know competitive squad gymnasts want to represent the club and they want to WIN!

Only a few days left to donate!

June 27 is the last day to drop off your new pyjama donations for our PJ Drive. Leave them in the tub at reception and know that your donation will go to Backpacks 4 Vic Kids who provide personal care packs for children going into emergency care. Thank you so much for your generosity!

From beginner to this! 🥷🔥
Does your son want to pull off tricks like Cash? It all starts with Ninja Zone at EKGA. The journey of a thousand flips begins with a single class!

Every big trick starts with the basics, the right coaching, and the confidence to keep trying. At NinjaZone, kids build strength, coordination, and resilience while having fun every step of the way.

This could be the start of their journey. 🥷✨

Carmela is one of our wonderful up-and-coming coaches, bringing warmth, experience, and a calm, friendly approach to every class she teaches.

Having been part of the EKGA family since 2013, Carmela started her journey in our Preschool program and grew right through the levels. She’s a true homegrown talent, who understands exactly what it feels like to be in the gymnast’s shoes.

Now balancing her Year 11 studies alongside coaching, Carmela is a fantastic role model for our younger athletes - showing dedication, commitment, and a love for the sport.

After retiring her leotard at the end of 2024, she’s stepped confidently into her coaching role, where her pleasant nature and supportive style help every gymnast feel comfortable and capable.

We’re so proud to have Carmela as part of our coaching team.

We are thrilled to announce that Coach Sam has been cast as the Swing for the Australian national tour of Fiddler on the Roof. This will be her professional debut.

Sam will be touring Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne (Her Majesty’s theatre) and Perth. Unfortunately, this does mean we need to say a “Goodbye & Good luck” (for now) to Sam, but we can’t wait to see her living out her dreams on stage!!!

Ever wondered what actually happens inside during a Playnastics session?

Our gym floor is packed with equipment that's specially designed to help little ones grow, move, and explore, and every single piece serves a purpose. Here's what your child gets to experience every session 👇

🪄 Foam Wedges and Ramps
These aren't just fun to climb, they help little ones build strength in their legs and core while learning how to navigate inclines safely. Great for developing balance and body awareness from an early age.

🌀 Tunnels
Crawling through tunnels is one of the best activities for bi-lateral coordination. It encourages kids to use both sides of their body together, which actually supports brain development and prepares them for more complex movement later on.

⛺ Pop-Up Play Tent
A favourite for imaginative play! While it looks like just a cute little house, it encourages kids to duck, crawl, and enter and exit spaces, which builds spatial awareness and confidence in moving through their environment.

🟠 Stepping stones
Those colourful little circles on the floor are balance trainers! Stepping from pod to pod helps kids develop coordination, focus, and proprioception, which is basically their body's ability to sense where it is in space.

🧱 Foam Stairs and Climbing Blocks
Climbing up and stepping down builds huge confidence in young children. These boxes are soft and safe, so kids can practise ascending and descending at their own pace without the risk of hard falls.

🤸 Trampoline
Bouncing is an incredible full-body workout for little ones! It strengthens muscles, improves balance, and honestly? It's just pure joy.

🎠 Bouncy Animal Ride-Ons
Those cute unicorns and horses are more than adorable, they help kids develop core strength and balance while they bounce and rock.

🛴 Ride-On tricycles
Scooting around the gym helps with leg strength, steering, and spatial awareness.

⭕ Hula Hoops
Used in so many ways: stepping through, rolling, tossing, and more.

🟡 Balance Beam
Walking along a beam, even a low one, takes serious concentration for a toddler!

Book your spot through the link in bio and come see what all the fun is about!

We are on a mission and we need your help!
EKGA is proud to partner with Backpacks 4 VIC Kids to collect new pyjamas for children in foster care or out of home care. Some of these little ones left home with nothing but the clothes in their back, and something as simple as a new pair of pyjamas can make the world of difference. Drop your donations at reception or in the tubs in the waiting areas. Every single donation counts!
