An exercise session, a meal or even one day as an isolated event aren't going to change your life.

But that's the trick our mind plays with us. It wants immediate satisfaction and results and we don't get that from refraining from the $6 morning coffee or from a healthy option at dinner. 'It's just one meal' or it's 'just $6' are common rationale we use.

And it is true. It is just one meal. It is just $6. But it paves the way for the same process to occur tomorrow and the day after that.

We often want big transformations and we think drastic change is required to achieve them. Sometimes it's just doing the things you do every day that little bit better. Sometimes it's the mundane daily tasks stacked upon one another, day after days.

We humans love new information and new fads… this post isn’t to diminish or invalidate those items listed by the coin…. however it is important to understand what amount of the pie they form, when focusing on health and fitness.

My suggestion is to master the basics before obsessing over the 1 percenters.

How would a bodybuilder train differently to an athlete?

This question could take me 20min to answer but I’ve tried to be as concise as possible whilst also mentioning all the considerations.

People love the short, sweet and black and white answers, however that often doesn’t do the topic justice.
