We had an exciting day to finish off the holidays with our Skate Qld Seminar. Thank you to Tammy and Clive for your awesome classes. And a massive thank you to Cass and Bianca for organising this amazing opportunity for all our skaters.

To wrap up a fabulous week we’d like to say a huge thank you to Skate Queensland, Helen, and Skate Australia for giving us this opportunity to skate at this 2026 national championship.

During our team dinner last night, our World Championships team was officially finalised.

Congratulations to everyone who was selected. A special congratulations to Kya on being selected for the Junior Solo Dance, Thomas being selected for Senior Free skate, Georgia on being named the reserve for the Senior Solo Dance, and to Pra Angeli — Sophia, Georgia, Kya, and Kalani — on their selection for the Senior Quartet.

We are so proud of you all and can't wait to see you represent us on the world stage.

Well done to all skaters who have finished off a great week of skating. To finish off the week we have some special awards that are given out at our dinner.

Special congratulations to:
Cass who was awarded National Coach of the year.
Alyssa who was nominated senior rising star skater of the year
Lola who was awarded the junior rising star skater of the year
Lee who was awarded the Queensland volunteer of the year
Kalani who was awarded junior skater of the year
Pra Angeli who was nominated as senior skater of the year.

And that’s a wrap on our last nationals session.

Well done to Hannah and Lola for competing today in Juvenile Girls Solo Free Dance. You guys were awesome. Well done to Lola who achieved a silver in the event today.

2nd last day comes to a close we are very proud of Bernice for skating in Masters Ladies Solo Free dance tonight. And Alyssa for skating in Intermediate Solo Free dance this morning .

We have a quiet day today with just our Alyssa skating in Intermediate Ladies Solo in the morning and Bernice skating in Masters ladies Solo Free dance in the evening.
