Pratt Family Racing

Last night the Pratt Family Racing team contested the Limited Sprintcar Association of WA Keenquip Round 3 at Collie Speedway.

The night started strong, with Ben qualifying 9th overall. From there, the team spent much of the night chasing down an engine issue, but still managed to put in consistent results:

Qualifying: P9
Heat One: P5–>P6
Heat Two: P3–>P5
Feature: P10–>P7

The team returned home early this morning, and after a quick rest, the car has already been cleaned down. The engine is out and on its way to HIGG Built Race Engines, where it’ll get some fine-tuning and a run on the Dyno ahead of the next meeting.

Preparation has begun in the workshop starting to build cars ready for the 2025/26 race season

Arrived in Kalgoorlie last night for round two of the LSA series. Did some work to the car this morning before firing it up and making sure everything runs. We have the car on display this morning in front of Toyworld and Free range supplies. Stop in for a chat or a photo with the car

Round 1 of the LSA series is complete after racing at Ellenbrook speedway on Saturday . The team had a few issues early on in the night but got them sorted in time for racing. All in all was a good weekend bringing the car home in one piece. Thankyou to the team for all the work put in over the weekend being on Kalgoorlie this weekend.

Today we had the WX88 360 sprintcar on display at the Mukinbudin men’s shed for the Father’s Day speedway show. It was good to meet lots of new people and have the chance to talk with them about speedway.

A massive thankyou to Brady and the team at A1 Sandblasting for painting the car in preparation for today and Blake and the team at Eyerite signs for their work sign writing the car. The car is looking unreal ahead of the 2024/25 season

Last nights racing concluded the Samava tiltray & services 2024 Pilbara Speedweek .The team has had a fun week of travelling and racing in Newman, Port Headland and Karratha. The team ended up finishing the series of 12 overall.

It’s now time to head home and start getting ready for next season

As the sunsets on a beautiful day in the Pilbara, we are at the Perry speedway for night two of Tillbury speed week

After 3.5 hours sleep and a 500 km drive from Bremen to Hedland the 88 pratt family racing is excited for the car to be in one piece although with a slightly bent chassis and a little of new bits bolted on hoping to finish round 2 well and add to our ninth place finish from night 1
