đ FIVE IN A ROW đ
Our C Grade boys have made it five premierships in a row, downing Manypeaks by 74 runs yesterday
Batting first, contributions across the board saw 8/184 posted from our 40 overs. In the chase, consistent wickets fell at important times, leaving Manypeaks finishing all out on 110
Graeme Weinert was named player of the match after his 36 with the bat and an economical spell of 0/17 (8) with the ball
Enjoy the celebrations lads, very thoroughly deserved!! đ¤đŚ

CPCC 2025/26 SEASON WINDUP đ
CPCC would like to invite all players, partners, families, sponsors, life members and supporters along to our 2025/26 season wind-up and awards night
Be sure to make it along after another successful season for the club, having all 3 senior teams in finals, C Grade making another grand final, and plenty of new and exciting young players arrive at the club
We ask all players to bring along a plate to share, as we recognise those who have had outstanding individual seasons
Looking forward to seeing everyone there for what will be a great night! đ

đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż OLLY AT THE WORLD CUP đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż
A massive congrats to one of our own, former overseas player Olly Davidson, on his selection in the Scotland squad for the ICC T20 World Cup, currently taking place in India
Olly had an incredible season with us during the 2022/23 season, scoring 393 runs and taking 29 wickets. He now gets to show the world what he is capable of, with a wicket already to his name after Game 1
All the best from everyone here at Collingwood Park!! đŚđ¤

𤊠ROY TAKES 5, BOYS ON A ROLL đ¤Š
A Leroy Van Den Dool master-class with the ball in the A Grade saw our boys make it 3 wins on the trot leading into the pointy end of the season
Bowling first against the second place Mt Barker, Leroy was chief destroyer taking 5/37, restricting Barker to 133. It was then again the Buddy Robinson show, finishing 55n.o as they coasted home with a 6 wicket win
And in the Bs, it was a successful trip to Sounness Park, romping home to a 10 wicket win and securing a finals spot. JP Swart, Robson Nielsen and Glenn Murphy each took 3 wickets, keeping Barker to 66, which never looked in doubt
Up the Park!! đŚđ¤

đ HAREY JUNIOR'S DAY OUT! đ¤Ż
Last night's U17s game saw an unreal performance from youngster Campbell Hare in his first full season of U17s cricket
Bowling first, Cam came on with Peaks ticking along nicely. He then caused a huge collapse on his way to 5/12 from 2.5 overs, which included a Hat Trick
If this wasn't enough, he backed it up with the bat, making 50n.o, his first half century for the club, as the boys cruised to a comfortable win
An unreal effort from a very exciting young cricketer, congrats Cam!

đŚ BIG WEEKEND FOR THE PARK! đŚ
What a weekend of cricket it was for the club at the weekend, taking home four wins from four starts!
The As had a dominant weekend, defeating Railways in Friday night's T20 by 82 runs, thanks largely to 77n.o from Buddy Robinson. That was followed by a 7 wicket win against the same team the next day, with Dylan Belward taking 4/23
The Bs maintained their spot at the top of the table with an 87-run win against Denmark off the back of 62 from Jarrod Hansen, 56 from Nathan Komene, and 4/16 from Ginton Du Toit
Meanwhile in the Cs, a Graeme Weinert special led them to yet another win against Manypeaks. Wein finished 87n.o opening the batting, while Dane Christensen took 3/35 with the ball to come home with a 55-run win
And if all of that wasn't enough, a special moment for the Robinson family was had with all three of them in the A Grade side for the first time
Up the Park!! đŚđ¤đ¤

𤊠WEEKEND OF THE ROBINSON'S đ¤Š
It was a weekend for the Robinson family at the weekend, with Buddy making his maiden A Grade ton, in the same game where his younger brother Max made his debut!
Unfortunately the As couldnt get over the line against Mt Barker, but an amazing hundred from Buddy almost got the job done, finishing on 108 as we fell 31 runs short
And in the Cs, we saw our latest father son duo take to the field for the first time, with Branden Tonkin making his club debut alongside his dad Craig. It was another strong win for our Cs against Royals, with some strong contributors with both bat and ball
Bring on this weekend đ

đ WHAT A WEEKEND đ
What an incredible weekend it was for the club just gone!
Three wins from three senior games, defeating Railways comfortably across A, B and C Grade, putting our senior teams in the top 3 in all grades! This included an impressive ton in the Cs from Craig Sims đ¤Š
That was followed by our annual club raffle night, which was an incredible success. A huge turnout on the night, and a very worthy winner Amanda taking home the major prize! đ°
Congrats to Amanda, and let's keep the momentum going with more wins once we return from the test match bye đĽ
