👏Behind every great team is an incredible coaching group 👏

A huge thank you to our amazing Féile coaching team, Dean Jones (.1on1.aflcoach), Brendan McAleer () and Morgan O’Shea ().

We are so honoured and proud that you led our Under 15 Féile Girls Team on this unforgettable journey. Thank you for giving your time, knowledge, passion and endless encouragement to help these girls believe in themselves and achieve something truly special.

The medals may hang around the girls’ necks, but your hard work, dedication and belief were the backbone of this team. Every goal scored, every tackle won, every lesson learned and every milestone achieved was built on the countless hours you put in behind the scenes.

Thank you for inspiring our girls to dream big, work hard and play for each other. You have created memories that will last a lifetime.

From the whole team who travelled to Ireland, and the entire Young Melbourne family... thank you. We couldn’t have asked for better coaches.

💙💚 Until We Meet Again... 💙💚

As the Melbourne days grow shorter, the winter chill rolls in and another season passes, we’ve had to say some difficult goodbyes to a number of our incredible Young Melbourne family.

Whether you’re heading home to Ireland, chasing new adventures interstate, or travelling somewhere new, we just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for pulling on the blue and green jersey.

Thank you for the laughs, the friendships, the training sessions, the match days, the post-game chats and the memories you’ve helped create.

While we’re sad to see you go, we’re so grateful that our paths crossed and that you chose to be part of the Young Melbourne GAA family.

Wherever life takes you next, we wish you nothing but happiness, success and safe travels.

And remember... you’ll always have friends waiting for you in Melbourne, and there will always be a Young Melbourne jersey ready for you whenever you find your way back. 💙💚

💙💚 Now, we all know our incredible Under-15 girls brought home the mighty Féile silverware... but if we’re honest, we know who the real MVPs are. 💙💚
The parents, families, volunteers and coaching team.

The dream chasers.

The sponsor hunters.

The annual leave takers.

The chauffeurs.

The ones washing training jerseys in bathroom sinks and hanging them from dorm room windows, hoping they’ll dry overnight.

The ones searching for that one missing sock or mouthguard... for the tenth time.

The endless suppliers of snacks, water bottles and “just one more meal.”

The photographers, desperately pleading, “Can we just get one nice photo?” 📸😂

The organisers, the cheer squad, the shoulders to lean on, the biggest supporters in every sense of the word.

And then there’s our coaching team.

The magic weavers who somehow brought together girls from opposite sides of Australia, created one team in just a matter of days, built belief, built trust and brought out the very best in every single player. That doesn’t happen by accident it takes passion, patience, countless hours and a whole lot of heart.

To every parent, coach, manager and volunteer who helped make this incredible journey possible... we see you, we appreciate you and we thank you.

Travelling across the world with a squad of 59 people isn’t always easy, but we hope you’ve all returned home with something even more valuable than medals, lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories and stories you’ll be telling for years to come.

Congratulations to every single one of you. This was a team effort in every sense of the word.

🏆 FÉILE PEILE NA NÓG DIVISION 5 PLATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆💙💚

What an incredible achievement for our Australasia Under-15 Girls, who have been crowned Féile Peile na nÓg Division 5 Plate Champions after a hard-fought victory over North East Boston in Derry! 🇮🇪

This team has shown that anything is possible with determination, teamwork and belief.

Bringing together players from Young Melbourne GAA and was no easy feat. The girls met as one team just 7 days before Féile, played together for the very first time only 5 days before the tournament, and somehow went on to lift the Division 5 Plate. An incredible testament to their talent, resilience and willingness to play for each other.

To every player, coach, manager, volunteer and family – thank you. You should all be so proud of what you’ve achieved both on and off the field.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our incredible sponsors. Your generosity and support helped make this unforgettable journey possible. We are so grateful to each and every one of you.

While we’re beyond proud of the silverware, we’re even prouder of the friendships formed, the memories made, and the lifelong connections created throughout this amazing adventure.

As the team now begins to scatter across the world and make their way home, we wish everyone safe travels and hope you continue making incredible memories along the way.

Congratulations again, girls. You’ve done Australasia, and Young Melbourne GAA proud. 💙💚

While most people spend the GAA off-season resting, our very own Boldy likes to casually squeeze in a bit of AFL! 🏉😆

A huge congratulations to Young Melbourne player Boldy, who celebrated her 50th game with her beloved Canterbury Cobras this past weekend.

50 games, countless tackles, endless passion, plenty of hard-ball gets, and not a hint of slowing down! Anyone who knows Boldy knows that if there’s a ball to be chased, she’ll be first in line.

To make the milestone even sweeter, the Cobras capped off the day with a fantastic win. 🎉🐍

We’re incredibly lucky to have Boldy as part of the Young Melbourne family. Her energy, commitment, and love of sport are second to none, whether she’s pulling on a Young Melbourne jersey or spending her “off-season” running around an AFL field!

Congratulations on the big 5-0, Boldy. Here’s to many more games, milestones, and memories to come.

Comhghairdeas, Boldy! 💙💚
