There sure are! All our courses have pathways from novice onward. Kids can start with Tackers 1, before moving through to Tackers 2 and then 3. For adults we run both Start Sailing 1 and 2. Then if you're looking to move on from our training programs and looking for your next sailing challenge, we are happy to introduce you to any of the many clubs we are affiliated with. During a continuous program, our instructors monitor each participants skill development. We encourage parents to observe the debrief session with participants at the end of each lesson and to speak with the instructor directly regarding the development of the participant. check out https://www.theboatshed.net.au/events/list/ to see what courses we have on the horizon!

Although we encourage parents to be active in their childrens sports, we do ask that parents respect our instructors who are running the class. Opportunities may arise where we ask parents to help rig boats, participate in land games, and encourage them to keep the sailing conversation going once they return home. The Boatshed Café provides the perfect locations for parents and grandparents to grab a coffee sit back and watch the sailing lessons. Unfortunately for sailors across history, weather is one of those things we just cant control. A little bit of rain wont hold us back but we will need to asses if the wind picks up or there's lightening about.
