Let’s all make a big effort to get down to Boss James Reserve (Hampton) tomorrow (12:30pm) and support the boys.

Welcome to season 2022/2023. I trust you have all had a good break and are pumped to build on the successes of last year. It was a huge achievement having all 4 teams play finals last year, of which 2 teams went on to play in the GF.

Barring any major changes, the season is scheduled to start on the 1st of October. We are scheduled to kick off pre-season on Saturday the 20th of August, at the Junction Oval indoor nets.

As we get closer to the 1st of October, we will arrange extra outdoor sessions, as required.

This season we say farewell to TJ as captain of the first XI and coach. We thank him for the tireless work he has put in on and off the field and wish wish him all the best for the future.

We are currently on the hunt for a new coach. We are also looking to strengthen our teams. If
you know of anyone that would suit, please get in touch.

Looking forward to seeing all of you on the 20th of August.

This Thursday, the 23rd December, Middle Park Cricket Club will be hosting a T20 match between England's ‘Barmy Army’ and ‘The Richies!’

The day will include music, a BBQ and a raffle in aid of the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

Yes, it’s that time of year. It’s time to get your playing gear sorted for this season

Below is a list of merchandise items available for purchase. Our Kit Sponsor Masuri has again for this season given us an array of merchandise options available for us this season.

As mentioned last week, this season we will be playing purely One Day Cricket, so if you haven’t already, it is recommended that you order our coloured clothing items.

Also, a new feature of our clothing options is our Club Branded Casual Tracksuit Pants. These pants are great to wear at training and for wearing casually to and from the ground. They will be available to purchase for $55. As these pants are not part of our playing gear, they are optional for purchase.

This Sunday (27th September 2020) is the date for the first cut-off is orders on Club Merchandise this season.

Middle Park CC Branded Masuri Helmets

As of the 2020/21 Season, Cricket Australia has mandated that community cricketers of all levels must wear a BS7928:2013 compliant helmet when Batting, Keeping up to the stumps and Fielding in close.

For us at the Middle Park Cricket Club, you have 2 options.

1. You can buy a compliant helmet from any local cricket retailer.

2. Or you can contact our Club Social Media Manager Lenny By Facebook Messenger at Lenan Kyriakopoulos Cochrane for further Middle Park CC Branded Helmet enquires.

This requirement from Cricket Australia may be inconvenient, especially for those who’ve never worn helmets or may have trouble with the visibility of the newer helmets.

But this is necessary for all community level players to prevent injuries or death as a result of the inherent dangers of our game.

Located in the beautiful Albert Park, the Middle Park Cricket Club is rich in history and culture with an eye for success and competition.

Established in 1910, Middle Park has been a homestead for many great players over the years and continues that tradition to this day.

We offer 4 Senior Teams who play in the Cricket Southern Bayside Competition. 2 Teams play a mixture of 2 Day, 1 Day and T20 Cricket and 2 Teams who only play 1 Day Cricket.

Also, if you have children who are getting started or want to play Junior Cricket, we have an official agreement with the nearby South Melbourne District Junior Cricket Club for them to be our feeder club for junior players looking to play senior cricket.

An epic performance last weekend at North Port Oval saw Middle Park Cricket Club beat Port Melbourne CC to progress to the Grand Final this weekend.
