A huge congratulations to Megan Drysdale, the current President of Middle Park FC, who has won Football Victoria's Female Football Week Champion of the Year award!!!

Megan is an extraordinary force within the club, making it a beacon of inclusivity and empowerment. Some of the many achievements that Megan has made for the club include:-

1. Female Participation: propelled female participation from 7 members in 2020 to an impressive 105 in 2024.

2. Change Our Game Grant: secured a $10,000 grant for female football through the “Change Our Game” initiative to enable the clubs vision and ensure that female players receive the support they deserve.

3. Scholarship Recipient: awarded a scholarship in 2021 from “Change Our Game" to work with Football Victoria and develop a 50/50 strategy.

4. Inclusive Leadership: Appointed President in 2024 and spearheaded the recruitment of two female Directors.

5. Revolutionizing the Kit: led the creation and adoption of the clubs first female kit - a pivotal step towards 50/50.

Megan embodies the essence of community football—a trailblazer, mentor, and advocate for fairness and respect.

Meet Connie Tsiorlas, our inspiring Under 11 Girls Assistant Coach at Middle Park FC! Connie's football journey began at age 11, leading her to represent various teams including Brunswick Juventus and Brunswick City. She even proudly represented Victoria and Australia in international competitions!

Although her Olympic dream didn't materialise, Connie's love for football persisted. Now, as a parent, she introduced her daughter, Mari, to the game at MPFC, praising our inclusive environment and supportive Intraclub and Home & Away programs. Connie's dedication to football and nurturing young players makes her invaluable to our club.

It has taken us while to get to this point, but after experiencing some amazing growth over the last few years we are pleased to announce that we are merging our Junior and Senior social media pages under a single Middle Park Football Club banner: Middle Park FC

Introducing Megan Drysdale for Female Football Week

Meet Megan Drysdale, our Club President and Director of our Female Program at Middle Park FC! Megan's journey with football began in 2001 when she discovered the game playing futsal in a corporate team.

Since joining Middle Park FC’s community in 2002, Megan's dedication to the club's growth has been unwavering.
As a parent of two Parkers (Charlotte u12’s and Will u11’s), Megan has focused on expanding our women's and girls' program, leading to remarkable growth with 105 girls across seven teams and our Intraclub program.

In late 2023, Megan made history as the club's first female president, highlighting her commitment to our success.
