How Awesome are our Grounds Team 🙌
They work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our track is in top condition for our members and training groups.
They’re out there in the rain today, but you’ll also find them out there when it’s hot 🥵, or super windy 🌬️ even at times battling the local insects 🦟 to keep up the maintenance of our lines, & the conditions of our grounds and surrounds. They do a fantastic job too!
We are very grateful for their commitment to providing a wonderful track for all of us to enjoy.

🚨 IMPORTANT REMINDER
PARENT HELPERS & AGE MANAGERS

Sharyn Dickson our Regional Development Officer is running a short workshop to help parents with the basics of Shot Put, Discus, Long/Triple/High Jump

We encourage all our parents to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn how to support your athletes on the field.

Our committee endeavours to help our parents as much as possible, but we are often stretched between our roles and our own partental duties.

This is a fantastic one stop shop to cover all the basics of what you need to know.

It runs for about 40 mins.

We will have helpers to watch the kids while you are with Sharyn.

** Please note: our Free Trial sessions are complete. All attending athletes MUST be registered to participate from now on.

Parents are reminded to allow for extra travel time due to traffic and parking around the venue.

🏅 Good luck to the 800+ young athletes heading to Beaton Park this Friday for the South Coast Schools Primary Athletics Championships!
The Kerryn McCann Athletics Track will be buzzing from 8am as students from Helensburgh to Eden compete for South Coast honours.
With athletes, families and supporters all on site, the area will be busy throughout the day. If you're travelling nearby, please leave a little extra time for your journey.
And if you hear the cheering, you'll know why! 👏
