Our first session today supporting mental health. Thanks to the lads who came down to join in to support of each other. Join us for a free session every second Sunday helping get the most out of each other.
People have asked how boxing can help. Firstly Boxing is a great community, community provides a sense of belonging. We have plenty of spaces for mindfulness which is great. Workplaces provide meditation rooms and I’m all for it. But what about a space for releasing excess energy we really don’t want to hold onto. I firmly believe somethings you just can’t release through breathing, meditation or mindfulness whatever you want to call it. Boxing is therapy for me and many of my friends. I know it can be therapy for you also. It certainly helps me release the energy I don’t wish to hold onto in a safe and controlled environment.

TKO Conditioning is excited to announce it has joined forces with Black Dog Boxing and together are looking forward to bringing something very positive to its members and the community.
Starting out we will be running a boxing session on the first and 3rd Sunday of every month at 9:30am. First session This Sunday 10th March. This session is a free session and you will need to bring a water bottle and towel and boxing gloves if you have them though we have equipment that can be borrowed.
We all know someone who is going through a tough time. Support is one of the greatest ways we can help and there is no better support then the boxing community. This program is aimed for those people. Everyone is welcome and feel free to bring others along who could do with some support and benefit from being around a positive environment.

I love how open Tyson Fury is with his journey. I’m sure we can all resonate with some of these words in some way. If you have the time have a listen, some very inspirational words. Find your why and make a start today no matter how small or big, set your goals and stay on track. Physical activity is a great way to make a start and keep you motivated.
