💙🤍 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🤍💙

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today’s Come & Try Day such a success! We couldn’t have done it without you.

🏃‍♀️ To our amazing athletes – Abbey, Jasmine, Warren, Dither, Hanro and Lottie – thank you for giving up your time and helping with the different age groups. Your leadership and enthusiasm were fantastic!

🏃‍♂️ To our former athletes – Ethan and Jack – thank you for coming back to the track and helping out with the age groups. It was fantastic to have you back!

💙 To our Committee, Life Members and former Committee members, and Kelly from LAVIC – thank you for everything you did today, from setting up and packing up, to answering questions and helping run the groups.

Every one of you played a part in creating a welcoming, fun and positive morning for our trial athletes and their families.

We appreciate every minute you gave to support our Centre and help introduce a new generation of athletes to Little Athletics.

You are all very appreciated – THANK YOU! 💙🤍

On this morning - for those families that registered after 5.30 last night here is the information that was emailed out to all our trial athletes.

Dear Trial Athletes & Families,

Welcome to Trial Week at Albury Little Athletics! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are so excited to welcome you and give your athletes the opportunity to experience what Little Athletics is all about.

🏃‍♂️ Our First Trial – NEW Athletes Only
Our first trial is for NEW athletes only, giving you the chance to experience athletics in a relaxed environment before the rest of the Centre begins.

⏰ Time: 10:00am–11:00am

👕 What to Wear
Sneakers
Shorts
T-shirt
Comfortable clothing suitable for running and activities

🎒 What to Bring
Hat
Drink bottle
Plenty of enthusiasm!

🏃 What to Expect
Athletes will be placed into their age groups and rotate through a range of fun athletics activities.
At the end of the trial, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and speak with the Athletics representative assigned to your group.

⏰ IMPORTANT – Please Arrive Early
We have over 100 trial athletes registered, so check-in may take a little while.

👉 Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow plenty of time to check in and have your athlete marked off before the session begins at 10:00am.

*What if I can't make this weekend? Great question! Our trials can be used when you are able to come. If you can come this weekend but not next, you can use your remaining trial the following weekend. They do not need to be used concurrently.

*What if I want to sign up after one trial? Great! You are able to sign up after the first week or wait until you have completed your trial.

*What if my child decides after the trials athletics isn't for me? That's ok, it's the beauty of a trial. We recognise that kids change their minds and circumstances change. No obligation to sign up. However, if your child changes their mind after paying full registration we cannot offer refunds.

We can't wait to meet all our new athletes and families! 💙🤍
