Freedom Valleys next event is a bit of a one off! We have Lissanthea from Seat IQ joining us for the morning with her mechanical horse Sven and all her physiotherapy experience so you can ride Sven and using her specialist Seat IQ equipment see where your balance is (and isn't!) After an hour with Lissanthea, hop on your horse to feel your new balance and straightness with me as your coach watching to see how it changes things for you and also for your horse. It was good to place in the Level 1 at Mansfield last weekend and extra good to be next to my coach and superstar rider Sophia Hill. We wouldn’t have come so far without her expertise thats for sure!

Another fun learning day here at the Winter Groundwork and Poles Clinic Part 2. Thanks everyone for being here today 😊 🌞 Riders learning to watch and then feel for the inside hind. Ponies using and building some muscle strength and finding better balance and suppleness through plenty of bend changes, turns and poles to lift over too! Improved communication responses and trust for all 🐴🤩🦄🐎💕

Ride wide, big loops to create a nice bend through the horse’s body. Riding big loops increases suppleness. Riding straight lines improves balance and straightness. There are so many ways to set poles out and so many benefits for horse and rider. This is a snippet of the upcoming clinic here on August 16th :)
