A day in the butcher shop with my assistant, Kermit!

The day started with a beautiful sambar spiker and ended with some delicious venison mince and backstrap steaks for the table.

Nothing goes to waste around here. All the trim was mixed with eggs, carrots, peas, and cooked brown rice to make a nutritious feast for our four-legged mates. The dogs, the ferrets, and even the cheeky chickens get their share—well, the chickens usually help themselves to whatever they can steal! 😂

A good day’s work and plenty of happy bellies all around.
