Congrats to the Apes for Winning Senior Div3 3-0 vs the Saints.

Championships are ultimately decided by poise and steadfast defence. The Mighty Apes demonstrated both in abundance, securing their win.

The decisive damage was done early in the opening period. Hugues Deraps set the tone, finishing a neat combination from Viktor Engdahl and Daniel Alabaster at the 12:31 mark. Just minutes later at 8:48, Thomas Webb doubled the advantage with an unassisted effort. From then on, the squad controlled the tempo and locked down the defensive zone, turning away every opportunity to preserve a earned shutout.

Congratulations to our women's team, the Arctic Foxes on winning silver in this year's IHNSW Women's Division.

The team did extremely well, travelling down to Canberra to play in a sold out arena and holding their own against the Canberra Pirates in a very tough and physical game.

This is the highest placing the Foxes have come and we are very proud of you and look forward to next season.

Congratulations to Ashton on his selection to represent Australia at the Youth Pan‑Pacific Series in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Ashton began his hockey journey right here at Ice Zoo, and over the years he has proudly represented New South Wales at multiple National Championships. Now, we’re thrilled to see him take the next step and wear the green and gold.

As a community, let’s rally behind him. High-performance sport comes with significant costs, and easing that burden allows young athletes like Ashton to focus on performing at their best. A tax‑deductible fundraising page has been set up, and every contribution — whether a donation or simply sharing the link — makes a meaningful difference.
