Seven champions out this morning for our second-last 8am run of the season! 🏃

Next Sunday (12 April) is the FINAL 8am Sunday bRUNch. See you at Alexandria Park at 8am for one last early one.

After that, winter timing kicks in — we move to 10am starts from 19 April! If 8am was always a bit too early for you, now’s your time to join us.

Not a runner? No worries — walking is always a good option, and people regularly show up just for coffee at the end. Come say hi at 9am next week, or 11am from the 19th. Everyone’s welcome ☕

☀️🕐 TIME CHANGE INCOMING — three Sundays to know about!

Sunday 5 April — Daylight savings ends! Clocks go BACK one hour overnight Saturday. You gain an hour of sleep but sunrise gets earlier. We’re still at 8am this week — don’t accidentally show up at 7 😅

Sunday 12 April — Last 8am Sunday bRUNch for the season.

Sunday 19 April — Winter timing kicks in! We move to 10am starts. Sleep in, it’s cold, you deserve it. ☕

Same place, same vibes, same Alexandria Park. Just a cosier start time for the dark mornings ahead.

Thursday evening runs keep going through winter too! 6pm at Prince Alfred Park, same as always. 🌙

9 legends joined us for out and back intervals this morning, running along the inside of the oval where the grass was beautifully dry. Everyone did it to their own abilities and it was genuinely perfect running weather.

The cool change brought out ALL the birds - swallows swooping overhead, galahs socializing on the grass, kookaburras laughing the entire session, and corellas being their chaotic selves. We adjusted our route to go around the outside so we wouldn’t disturb their morning conference 🦜

Today we reflected on what each of us wants to get out of the coming year and goals ranged from finding more courage, to being more brave, to finding a new job, to being one’s fullest self, to running a half marathon 🔥

What a way to start 2026! 🌈 Six legends on foot and 2 on bikes joined us for our first Thursday run of the year.

Rain held off just in time for a perfect 4-5k through the neighbourhood, then we celebrated with dinner outside. Humid but worth it.

From chill pace to steady stride, everyone found their groove. This is what Thursday nights are about: good company, easy miles, and zero pressure.

Every Thursday at 6pm from Prince Alfred Park. Whether you run, walk, or roll, you’re welcome here. ✨
