It is with very sad news of the passing of Jenny Bostock.
Jenny was a beloved member of Algester Bowls Club. Jenny represented the Algester Bowls Club in the inaugural State 8 A Side winning Gold, Jenny also represented Cunningham District Ladies side and was a member of the 2023 Cunningham side which won the State District Sides Championship.
On behalf of all the members at the Algester Sports Club we would like to offer it's deepest condolences to Greg and family.
Greg and Family have invited the members of the Algester Bowls Club to attend the Funeral to celebrate the life of Jenny. Your full bowling uniform can be worn to the funeral. Please see the details of the service to be held next Wednesday the 1st of July at 11am at the Beaudesert Golf Club. R.I.P Jenny.

Congratulations to Duncan Matherson and Wayne Molloy winners of the Algester Sports Club Veteran Pairs defeating Errol Richardson and Geoff Jensen in todays Final. This was the 3rd year in a Row that Wayne and Duncan have won the Veteran Pairs.

Congratulations to Tessa Smedley & Sheridan Gollan on winning Silver in the Ladies State Pairs. Congratulations to Emma Rowbotham who won the Bronze Medal in the Ladies Pairs. Congratulations also to Debbie Logan who won Bronze in the over 60’s Ladies Pairs, Heather Bailey finished Fourth in the Ladies over 60’s Pairs. Congratulations to all our Allstars who played in the finals over the last 2 weeks at the State Championships.
