CAMO UP for SCENARIO SUNDAY

Sunday 28th of July 2024 – Scenario Games at Townsville Paintball

10:00am start, 4 x 30 minute games, 4 different scenarios. 20 minute intervals to allow regrouping, marker repairs and reloading. M500 format applies to each game – 2,000 rounds total at a fixed rate fee of $125.00 (additional rounds of 500 can be purchased at $25 per 500).

GAME TWO – ESCAPE TO HELIPAD: 10:50am start

BLUE team must plan a path from the north/west creek to the Helipad within 30 minutes. The path is planned by the commander. Respawn is provided via two players designated as medics. A medic can only be eliminated or slowed down by a hit to his medic case – if the medic is hit, he/she must hold that position for 1 minute before continuing.
RED team commander will send her/his subordinates out to locate the BLUE team, setting up defence to hold them back so they do not reach the Helipad – and freedom. Blue team members have free run of the field, but must start from a set location at the other end of the field. If a Red team member is hit, that player must return to the medic area to respawn.

The winning team is the team that achieves the escape or stops the escape.

GAME ONE – BASE CAMP DEFENSE: 10:00am start

BLUE Team: Commander rules supreme over his/her subordinates and will set the defense strategy of the Base. All players are required to defend the base against all odds - no retreat, but can respawn within the medic station following a 1-minute time out. The base has 3 flags placed just inside the perimeter – Blue team cannot touch the flags but need to defend them from being taken.

RED Team: Commander can arrange the attack and retrieval of as many flags as possible. Additional firepower is provided to the Red team via gr***de style fluid filled projectiles, which will be placed at specific bunkers just outside the perimeter of the base. If a Red team player can access the pre-arranged bunkers, a mortar style attack can easily push the defending Blue team back to the medic/respawn area, allowing Red team easier access to the flags. Red team players also have a mobile medic – the eliminated player must retreat to the medic or wait for the medic to tag that player.

The winning team is the team that controls the most flags at the end of the 30 minute game time.

Final club day for the year will be on Sunday the 17th of December at 3:00pm! You don't need to be a member - simply come along to have a fun time and hang out with your mates, at the time of day when temperatures start to drop. Afternoon BBQ will be provided if we have enough attendees letting us know that they are coming. We look forward to seeing you there!
