Touch & Go 3.0 has been acquired 😎 This is what we have been working on in the background. This car is an absolute rocket ship!! We had to give it a quick test drive today before we load it up and take it back to Alice Springs. VERY VERY different to the old triton with a LS V8, Hollinger 6 speed sequential, L*D front and rear diffs. This is going to be a whole new learning curve 😬😬😬 Time to get a boogie on 😝

We finally got around to putting together some of the In-car from the Sunraysia Safari Cross Country Rally. This gives a pretty good insight to the car and event. We will definitely be making the trek back down!! Maybe in some faster wheels 😉 🤔

Thanks again to everyone who helped us make it happen. It was an amazing experience and definitely worth a go if you are looking for a great event to have a go at.

Having these four wonderful people here in Wentworth the past week feeding us, helping us and providing the best moral support, has made this Safari journey even more memorable and enjoyable. Unfortunately this marks the end of our 2025 Sunraysia Safari Cross Country Rally journey with just one day to go. We had the absolute best stage yesterday morning, the triton was on song, Jordan pushed her HARD, and she loved every moment. Entered the second stage of the day, got 12mins in and lost 1st, 3rd & 5th gear 🥲 Completed the 120km stage in 2nd & 4th while also trying to source a gearbox mid stage. We tried every possible avenue with the limited time we had and unfortunately the ‘easy to find Mitsubishi parts’ were not so easy to find.
We were going to be heading out 13th this morning, which felt like a huge achievement after a tough slog the first few days, so it’s been a tough pill to swallow. We have already made plans to be back for next year 😎

We recorded heaps of great GoPro footage so will post a bit of that later on 🎥

Day 2 of the Sunraysia Safari Cross Country Rally☀️🌵

Today we just had the one long 178km competitive stage as the 2nd stage was cancelled due to road closures.

The first half of the stage was absolutely perfect!! We were driving the heart out of the car. We struggled a little bit with the big long straights not being able to get the speed out of the car. But the corners were fire 🔥

During the mid stage refuel one of the officials spotted a big oil leak under the car, a fitting for the oil pressure gauge had snapped off 😬 Someone or something was on our side today!! We managed to get a temporary fix on it to finish the stage and finish the day luckily.

Our service crew were all very happy to see us come in to service at the end of the stage even though we were a tad late 😁

Some time spent with the car this afternoon fixing and having a good look over 👀 This will see us out earlier tomorrow morning about 8:05am 🏁

These words definitely describe our journey to get here to the Safari. We would like to dedicate this adventure to Snags & Nanna, two of our biggest supporters. Nanna would always call and follow up on any motorsport we took part in, getting all the goss and quizzing us with questions about all other competitors too. We know that snags would have also been down with us at Wentworth watching on if he was here 🤍
