A special mention goes out to the following organisations and individuals because if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be able to run such a big and successful event.

- Natalie Mahomet & Cheryl Schembri for running a safe and fun course for our barrel events.

- The Butterfly Connection Alice Springs greeted you all at the gates as they checked and helped you with your tickets.

- Dingo Cubs Rugby Union Football Club serving the general public to their favourite beverages again this year, and also stocking our VIP area.

- Giants Netball Club Alice Springs for manning and directing traffic smoothly into the carpark.

We can’t begin to thank all our volunteers and helpers before firstly giving a massive shout out to this crew.

The team that brought you the 2026 Alice Springs Rodeo. Most of which are all on the Aileron Bush Club committee plus a few extra friends and family members that helped along the way.

It takes a lot of volunteer hours and effort to bring events like this to life especially as most of us all live out of town. So after a successful Aileron Rodeo back in April, the organising and planning process began almost immediately.

Like all events, we had our challenges to overcome but with the determination, experience and knowledge from this crew, it’s fair to say, it all came together.

For now we are all signing off from a great year of rodeo, although our minds won’t stay quiet for long with bigger and better ideas to come in 2027.

🐮🏆 G&S TRANSPORT OPEN BULL 🐮🏆

1st - Sam Webb 137 pts
2nd - Shaun Madigan 79 pts

It doesn’t get any better than this. Not only did Sam win both rounds of the open bull categories with the most points, he also rode time of 8 seconds in the second round then went on to win the open bull shoot out!! What a champion. What a show.

1st - Kolt Fraser 79 pts
2nd - Ryan Fogarty 67 pts

Two very experienced riders, up against some pretty impressive stock. Both men and stock put on a great show. Making his NT debut, Kolt travelled all the way from SA to take out the win.

🥇🐮 THREE FIVES JUNIOR BULL WINNER 🐮🥇

1st - Jake Dallaglio 72 pts

He’s still only young but Jake is no amateur when it comes to bull riding. Originally from SA, Jake recently took home the win at Harts Range Rodeo and Aileron Rodeo early in the year. He is the future of our sport, and we want to congratulate him on his excellent performances this year. It’s been a pleasure watching him compete in our local events. Well done 👏🤠

Just like that, its all over! 🙌

The dust has settled and the stock have been loaded up.

With so many people to thank individually, The Aileron Bush Committee would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to everyone that joined the ride and has helped bring the Alice Springs Rodeo back to life after our event had a small break in 2025.

To our, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, patrons, competitors and of course our families! We couldn’t have done it without you.

We will be sharing more highlights and event results from the weekend over the next few days.
