On the 3rd of April we held our finals for our Term 1 Teams Competition. This term we had 4 Div 1 teams and 4 Div 2 teams. Congratulations to our finalists.

On the 28th of April we held our Friday night Junior League Performance Finals. We had 14 players compete over the terms play.

On the 23rd of March we held the McDonald’s Alice Springs Tournament. We had 57 players competing 11 different events over the course of 7 hours play.

Day 2 of the Darwin tour

We set of from Alice yesterday morning with the kids super excited for there week up in Darwin. When we arrived we settled in our accommodation then we took the kids shopping to buy there lunch and dinner items for the next 3 day. They had a budget and choose very well with there choice off food. We had a few hours spare before our Matchplay that night so they enjoyed a few hours at King Pin.

This morning we arrived at Gardens Open tournament. They have enjoyed playing new players and have really stepped up there game for the occasion.

Entries are now open for our Term 1 McDonalds Alice Springs Tornament. This term we will be holding the tournament on Sunday 23rd of March. This will be a one-day tournaments with Adults/Performance Juniors starting at 2pm & Beginner Juniors starting at 4pm. Forecast is looking to gift us with a beautiful 30 degree high for the day.

Performance events will include: Men's & Womans Singles, Open Doubles, Social Doubles & Singles, Junior Singles

Junior Beginner events will include: Red, Orange, Green Singles & Beginner Doubles

Come in and enjoy the fun at our Family Fun Night. Not only will there be tennis, there will be loads of other fun and hilarious activities throughout the evening. It will also be an awesome opportunity for your kid to explore our wonderful sport in a fun and social family environment.

This is a free event for not just our current Tennis Alice Springs members but its for the whole community too

Thank you to all the volunteers that come down this evening and give their time to help tidy up around the courts. We had 20 Volunteers/Players down to help out. Volunteers are a big part of our club and we appreciate every helping hand.

We are now playing a few sets of social doubles and will finish off with a BBQ and a few beverages.

Tennis Hot Shots is tennis for kids! It’s a program designed to help every child, no matter their age or ability, jump in and start playing tennis. Tennis Hot Shots is played on smaller courts with modified equipment, including lighter racquets, lower nets and low compression balls that don’t bounce too high. With four fun stages (Launchpad, Red Court, Orange Court and Social Teens), qualified Tennis Australia coaches will help guide your kid/teen every step of the way.
