Happy holidays everyone! If you're travelling, stay safe and have fun. If you're staying close to home, I hope you have a relaxing time and we get to enjoy some sunshine.

A beautiful start to the week...can't beat a walk in the sunshine with the sea breeze and sound of the waves to clear the mind!

They were amazed at how images are altered so that the finished person looks SO vastly different to the actual "model".

I've always struggled with body image, but try not to make an issue of it in front of my kids as they're exposed to enough social expectation of what's acceptable.

is hard but false images in print media and social media set unreal and unattainable standards that our society has accepted as the bench mark - and self comparison is hard-wired into us as humans.

With a great percentage of our country, including most of my family, in lockdown and my family in NZ also in lockdown, I feel very fortunate to be able to be out and about enjoying some fresh air, sunshine, loved ones and the beauty of our natural surroundings.

Don't ever take for granted what's on your doorstep, because things can change in an instant.

Green Lisianthus - Grown in Fukshima , the area of nuclear disaster, forcing many to evacuate, now cultivates these stunning blooms., jump starting their economy.

Sunflowers - Grown in Miyagi. Parents come to the hillsides there and plant sunflowers in memory of the children who died, the flowers have become a symbol to those affected.

Blue Gentian - Grown in Iwate , a coastal area that was hit hard by the giant tsunami waves. They have been growing these beautiful flowers since the 1960s.

Attached to the bouquet is the Olympic Mascot - Miraitowa. His name represents the Past and the Future.

I am keen to get things up and running again once the kids go back to school...but I have no voice again!!
