Mark has done it again! 🎯

First archer at our club to complete Ozbow with a barebow and a Compound. Now he’s on to Olympic Recurve. And he wants to do Longbow after that 🤯🫣

🏹 Should’ve gone to Specsavers? Actually, they came to us! 👀🎯

We had an absolute blast hosting 11 awesome team members from our incredible sponsors at the local Specsavers for an Anzac Day corporate shoot!

Let’s just say any office rivalries were quickly settled on the shooting line (definitely not looking at Cam and Venessa 🤣). The competitive spirit was absolutely off the charts! We were fully prepared to drop a few "Should've gone to Specsavers" jokes for missed targets, but to their credit, this crew had their eyes firmly on the prize. 👓🔥

After the arrows stopped flying, our wonderful committee members fired up the BBQ to feed the hungry archers. Because the only thing better than hitting a bullseye is a post-shoot snag! 🌭🥩

A massive shoutout and THANK YOU to our nationally accredited coaches for volunteering their holiday time and expertise to make sure everyone was shooting safely and looking sharp doing it.

Great mood, fierce competition, and fantastic company.

Join Archers of Warrnambool for our beginner-friendly "Come and Try" sessions! No experience is needed and we provide all the equipment (bows, arrows, and safety gear). Come experience an ancient sport with a modern twist in a safe, fun and inclusive space.

🎯 The Details:
• When: Saturdays at 11:00 AM (1-hour session).
• Where: Duram Park, 200 Buckley's Road, Allansford.
• Cost: $15 Individual | $30 Family/Group of 3 | $10 per person for groups of 4+.

There will be no archery and no come and try’s for Saturday 25th April as the club is hosting a sponsors event.

Archery resumes on Sunday 26th of April and Come and Try’s back on 2nd of May.

Just a quick note, that this Saturday the range is booked by the Rifle Club for an event, so there is no access to the range for us the Saturday.

🚨 URGENT UPDATE: RANGE CLOSED TOMORROW

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not have access to the Indoor or Outdoor ranges tomorrow, 10th of January 2026.

Unfortunately, this means Come & Try and OzBow are cancelled for the day. We apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience!

The Good News:
We will be back to our usual schedule on Sunday starting at 9:30 AM. See you on the shooting line then! 🏹
