After Sunday didn’t quite go to plan (thanks a lot, weather 😅), we’re currently working behind the scenes on how we can roll this event into our June race day.

Nothing locked in just yet — the committee are onto it and we’ll share details as soon as we’ve got it sorted.

Well… today didn’t quite go to plan.

After holding out as long as we could, we made the call to cancel once everyone had arrived and waited patiently with us. We know that’s incredibly frustrating and we’re genuinely sorry for the time and effort it took for you all to get there this morning.

The weather just wasn’t on our side today, no matter how much we tried to out-stubborn it. Rider safety will always come first, even when it makes for a tough call like this one.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support — it never goes unnoticed.

On a slightly brighter note… at least the new trees got a proper soaking 🌧️🌱 (that’s one job off the list for us!)

We know everyone’s keen to get out there, but safety always comes first ⛈️

A massive shoutout to this absolute legend crew 👏🌱

While it might’ve been a quiet day numbers-wise, this team got stuck in and made it count — planting 120+ native trees around our grounds 🙌

And safe to say… we all earned a solid layer of “Creswick dust” today 🌬️😅 The wind had other ideas and made sure every bit of that soft dirt found us!

This is what our club is all about… people showing up, pitching in, and leaving the place better than they found it 💚

We’re so grateful for the time, effort (and slightly dusty dedication!) that went into today. These little trees are going to grow into something pretty special 🌿

A huge thank you to Brian from Hepburn Shire Council, Allendale Native and Habitat Plants, Bald Hills Creswick Landcare and a special thanks to the boys from Support Ballarat's Professional Firefighters for coming out and supporting our event.

The grounds are getting a glow-up 🌱

Our tree planting day is officially underway and the place is already looking unreal. Little legends and a whole lot of native plants finding their new home 🌿

Huge thanks to the crew who’ve rolled up their sleeves this morning — this is what club spirit looks like 💪

Good news: coffee is sorted ☕🙌
Now we just need 3 or 4 legends to run the food side of the canteen this weekend!

Menu highlights include:
🥓 Bacon & egg rolls for brekky
🍔 Easy lunch feeds
🍭 And most importantly… keeping the lolly supply alive for the kids (this is a very serious responsibility 😅)
