Beaudesert Target Pistol Club

Big congrats to Susie nailing her first ever 50! 🤩 Shot today during the Rapid Fire stage of Women’s 25m Pistol event. And at the Pistol Shooting QLD State Champs no less! (Sorry no pic of the actual target - her mum was shooting in the same match so only heard the applause!)

Susie is one of our Teens group who train regularly at our club on a Wednesday afternoon. We’re keen to grow our Junior ranks so if you have a teenager looking for a sport that’s a bit different to most of what’s on offer get in touch. We have a Come and Try event next weekend!

PSQ State Championships
starting on Friday at Brisbane International Shooting Centre.
33 clubs from across the country are represented competing in all the ISSF matches including Supported Rest events and 25m Pistol for men.
Qualifications and a Final to determine the 25m Rapid Fire State Champion start the competition off on Friday.

Great to see all matches getting well supported today including the morning and afternoon matches.

We’ve got a busy couple of months coming up at the club with a Come & Try day in a couple of weeks and then our annual Open competition later in September.

If you’ve been thinking about coming to try pistol shooting to see if it might be the sport for you, jump online and reserve a spot for our August event. It’s already half full and we won’t have another until mid October!

Members! New match times start tomorrow!

Our updated Saturday match schedule begins this Saturday, 4 July, giving members more opportunities to participate in more matches.

This week:

🕘 9:30am – Centre Fire / Sport Pistol
🕦 11:30am – Air Pistol
🕑 2:00pm – Standard Pistol

Take a break between matches with a tea or coffee and a biscuit in the clubhouse, or grab a cold drink from the fridge.

✅ Please arrive early to sign the range register so matches can start on time.

📋 Range Officers: Our new RO roster also begins this Saturday. Members, please check the match calendar so you know what days/times you have been rostered on for.

The fog cleared for another glorious, sunny SEQ winters day at BTPC.

Great turnout today for the 25m Pistol/Centre Fire match with a mix of experience levels on the range. Great to see practice paying off too with some nice groups appearing on the targets.

Don’t forget members from July onwards the Air Pistol match commences at 11.30am and a 25m or 50m match commences at 2pm. Shoot one match, both the morning matches or make a day of it! And please make sure you have checked the match calendar as you may have been rostered to RO a match! Many hands make light work!

Nice day for it ☀️ and our members agreed with a solid turnout this morning on both the 25m and Air Pistol ranges.

Looking forward to showing a few potential newbies the ropes at our Come & Try session next weekend and hoping for another glorious day like today 🤞

Great to see the Beaudesert colours represented at the BIPC Air Cup yesterday in at the Brisbane International Shooting Complex. This was the first event of a 4 part series that BIPC are running this year. Well done to Belinda for winning the Handicap match and bringing that medal back to Beauy!
