This Friday 27 March is our final night of Alstonville Junior Water Polo for the summer season, and we’d love to see everyone there to celebrate!

The devastating events in Bondi on Sunday, 14 December have deeply affected communities across Australia. Acts of violence have no place in our society, and our thoughts are with everyone impacted.

As a small regional club, we want to acknowledge Scott Dyson, a Police Officer who has strong ties to the Australian water polo community and was critically injured while responding to the incident. Scott is part of our broader water polo family, and his injuries have been felt well beyond Sydney. NSW Police have established official appeals to support Scott and his family, as well as fellow Police Officer Jack Hibbert, who was also critically injured while responding. What a finish to an unforgettable tournament — every player brought their best, supported each other till the final whistle, and showed exactly what team spirit and hard work can achieve.

The smiles, the celebrations, the collective pride — it’s not just about winning, but how we got there: learning, laughing, growing as friends and athletes. A massive thank-you to our coaches for their dedication and to our families for the cheers, snacks, rides and everything in between… we couldn’t have done it without you.

U14 Boys – Days 1 & 2 Recap

What a team effort it was over the first two days for our U14 boys! Day 1 saw us split the results — one win and one loss — but both games featured standout performances from our goalkeepers, and everyone played their part even when the shots weren’t falling.

Day 2 was a totally different story: every player stepped up, and we were safely into finals. Even with a few missed chances at goal, the attitude, energy and teamwork were spot on.

Huge thanks to the coaches, our parents, and the broader club whose support and club spirit made all the difference!
