π 250 GAMES FOR Shae Murph π
The Laverton Magpies Football Netball Club is incredibly proud to celebrate the decorated career of one of the game's finest as Shae Murphy runs out for her 250th Football Game this Saturday.
An ambassador for women's sport, a true champion, inspirational leader and passionate competitor, Shae has dedicated her life to football. Since pulling on the boots as a young teenager in 2008, she has spent 19 seasons giving everything to the game she loves.
Through sacrifice, resilience and unwavering commitment, football has taken Shae on an incredible journey creating lifelong friendships, high-performance opportunities, travel experiences, coaching pathways and, most importantly, a strong sense of belonging and community. Her willingness to give back and help the next generation of players is a testament to the person she is both on and off the field.
At 31 years of age, Shae continues to play at an outstanding level and remains one of the most respected figures in women's football.
A special mention must go to her daughter Blaire, who Loves watching Shae's journey, as well as the many teammates, coaches, volunteers, family members, friends and supporters who have shared in her football story over the years.
Congratulations Shae on reaching this remarkable milestone. The entire Laverton Magpies family is proud of what you have achieved and the legacy you continue to build.
